Imagine waking up every morning with the smell of the sea, just 30 metres away, and the singing of birds. At Buonfornello, in the hamlet of Campofelice di Roccella, a flat with a covered terrace awaits you. It is a real gem and part of the tourist complex called New Residence. With its two bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom, a small room with a sofa bed as well as a living area with an open kitchen and a bathroom with shower, our terraced house will make you feel immediately at home. There is also a practical outdoor area where you can spend quality time in the fresh air. Every detail is designed to offer comfort and serenity, creating the ideal environment for a relaxing holiday. In this complex, for an extra charge, you will have access to the swimming pool and recreational area where you can enjoy yourself in the evenings. However, this residence is only fifteen kilometres from the beautiful CefalĂč, which with its fascinating historic centre is the jewel in the crown of this part of Sicily facing the Tyrrhenian Sea. This flat is more than just an accommodation: it is a refuge where time seems to stand still. Only eighty kilometres from Palermo's Falcone e Borsellino airport, reaching us is easy, but leaving us will be difficult.
Campofelice is known for its scenic beauty, with wide expanses of cultivated fields and breathtaking views. Its elevated position offers spectacular views of the valley below, creating a serene and evocative environment. The central area of the town originated from the feud of Roccella, then Campofelice was added to the initial name due to its mild climate. There are long beaches with crystal-clear blue sea. Among the most significant monuments in Campofelice di Roccella are the Mother Church in Piazza Garibaldi built around 1830 and the Roccella Castle, an ancient castle located on the hill overlooking the town of Campofelice di Roccella. It offers spectacular views of the coast and surrounding countryside. The coast of Campofelice di Roccella is perfect for water sports such as surfing, kite surfing, snorkelling and sailing. About 35 km away is the Madonie Park, a large nature reserve where you can go hiking, cycling or horseback riding and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. The Madonie Park is surrounded by picturesque villages and towns that offer a unique experience of discovering local history and culture. The Campofelice di Roccella railway station, just a few kilometres away, conveniently connects you with the wonders of Sicily, but once here, you may never want to leave.
