Ce grand et lumineux appartement occupe la moitié d'un bungalow classique de 1924. Entrée privée de chambres rénovées, confortables et joliment meublées.

La cuisine et la salle de bain sont modernes et bien équipées.

Situé au cœur d'un charmant quartier urbain, à seulement six kilomètres du centre-ville, ce bungalow classique a été récemment rénové et mis à jour. Il y a une vue sur le jardin depuis chaque fenêtre!

Un grand parking dans la rue est disponible. Télévision par câble de base et bon WiFi inclus.

En plus du lit king-size dans la chambre principale, le salon dispose d'un nouveau canapé-lit queen très confortable avec un matelas haut de gamme. L'appartement est super isolé et reste frais tout l'été avec juste un climatiseur portable dans la cuisine.

La salle de bain est entièrement mise à jour avec des comptoirs en granit, tous les nouveaux luminaires et des armoires en cerisier. Un miroir de maquillage éclairé intégré est un plus.

La cuisine du cuisinier modernisée a des comptoirs en granit, un double évier en acier inoxydable, un sol en liège et des appareils électroménagers de grande taille, y compris un nouveau lave-vaisselle. Tout l'équipement de cuisine amusant habituel est fourni. Il suffit de ramasser des produits d'épicerie à proximité pour cuisiner ou de commander des plats à emporter dans un bon restaurant local.

Détendez-vous dans la véranda fermée, à côté du salon, pour votre café du matin. Ou reculez pour griller et dîner sur votre terrasse privée. Vous serez entouré d'un jardin apaisant de style asiatique, d'un jardin fleuri et des arbres majestueux du quartier.

Bonus: Livré avec une guitare et un accordeur électrique si vous aimez jouer. La machine à expresso fonctionne très bien! Entreposage de vélos pratique au sous-sol près de votre buanderie complète. La plupart de l'équipement bébé habituel est rangé de manière pratique dans la buanderie.

Explorez une direction différente de la maison chaque jour!
Le tramway orange ou le bus n ° 19 ou n ° 70 vous connectent rapidement au centre-ville et à tous les sites touristiques. Marchez ou faites du vélo dans les boulangeries, cafés, magasins d'antiquités et restaurants notables à proximité. Les amateurs de vélo adoreront l'accès au couloir Springwater à l'extrémité sud du quartier. Grande boutique de vélos pour les locations est à proximité. Grand parking dans la rue si vous avez une voiture.

Emplacement parfait pour les couples ou les petites familles. L'occupation maximale est de quatre personnes. Cinq marches menant au porche pour accéder à la porte d'entrée de l'appartement de plain-pied.

Quaint home in Portland neighborhood

This was a great little home to enjoy a long weekend with our daughter and her husband who came down from Seattle. We drove out from Indiana and it was nice to be able to have the space of a home and a nice neighborhood to walk in as we visited. We slept on the sofa sleeper and it was very comfortable, didn't mind it at all. Barbara was very pleasant and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

A Lovely Bungalow Apartment in Sellwood-Moreland

My parents stayed in Barb's rental and this is what they had to say: We thoroughly enjoyed our six-night stay in this lovely apartment. The apartment consists of four spacious rooms and a bathroom with tub/shower. There is an enclosed all-weather porch/sitting room in front, a large well-appointed living room with TV, a kitchen with all modern appliances and breakfast nook and a large bedroom with a wonderfully comfortable “Sleep Number” bed. In addition the owner has created a beautiful little Japanese garden behind the house. There is also a small patio with a table and Weber barbeque grill, which we used twice for dinners with friends & family.. There was washer and dryer in the basemen. All of the basic kitchen and bathroom supplies were on hand so we had only to purchase the food that we wanted to eat during our stay. The apartment is located in a very nice, well-kept neighborhood, which during our visit in April was spectacular, with flowers and trees in full bloom. It is located two streets from Westmoreland Park and not far from Oaks Bottom. Shops and restaurants are a short walk away too. When we return to Portland, this apartment would certainly be our first choice for accommodations."

Sellwood by the Park

Very functional half of duplex. Nice closed in front porch, back patio, entrance foyer. Easy check in-out! Quiet neighborhood! Park is short one block away with play ground, pond, creek, walk ways are pleasant. Coffee shops, supermarket, restaurants all with delivery within.3 of a mile.

Enjoyed a wonderrul week at Barb's VRBO space

After staying in many other rental spaces, we have to say that Barb Cannon is one of the very best hosts we have ever had. Since the first time we stayed in her apartment several years ago, she has continued to add upgrades - new dishwasher, DISH satellite TV, outside garden, gas grill, etc. And Barb was available to help us in many ways during our visit. We will surely want to stay there again, and we look forward to returning. . Pam and Bob, Old Greenwich CT.

A Perfect Place

The bungalow was everything we could have wanted. The location was in a safe neighborhood and close to the city. It was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The yard is really spectacular with blooming flowers and a peaceful Japanese garden in the back. Everything we needed was available, and it was close to Trader Joe’s, Safeway, and a gas station. This would be our first choice in the Portland area.

Gem in Sellwood

Even more beautiful than the photos. This charming, comfortable bungalow in the heart of Sellwood will make you never want to leave. Spacious, welcoming, and well-appointed, we found no creature comfort lacking. And Barb was very friendly and available to answer any questions. Barbara Cannon's property is a gem throughout -- elegant but comfortable. She clearly enjoys the hosting life she has created for herself. And her enjoyment shines through in her conversations with her guest.s If you want a special conversation, ask her to show you her gardens out back. Wow!

Simply charming

We absolutely loved staying here. It was well designed and thought out to the very last detail. It was fabulous, very low key, and quiet in a great neighborhood. Our host was wonderful and we wish we could give it more than 5 stars. No vehicle was needed as we walked to great little shops and places to eat close by and took the max into Portland easily. All we could have asked for...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barb Cannon's tasteful, well-equipped apartment in a lovely duplex. It has everything we want, from the comfortable furnishings and great location--an easy ride over the Sellwood bridge to our family--to another opportunity to stay in one of Portland's loveliest neighborhoods. Step out of the front door and you'll see a real-life fairyland of early 20-century cottages, a short walk through equally awesome streets to Milwaukee, an avenue of a variety of restaurants and shops of all types. But the best feature is a warm and knowledgeable host, Barb. We look forward to another visit to enjoy her lovely apartment and a chat. There's a pleasant back yard also, which we hope to enjoy in the more sunny days of Portland's calendar. Thanks, Barb, for providing this for us.

many small details that add up to one great rental experience

I appreciated so much about this rental. For starters, it was immaculate, which goes a long way towards making a new place feel comfortable. It was also thoughtfully furnished and designed, with soft bedding and a soothing color scheme. The kitchen in particular had numerous touches that went above and beyond my expectations in a vacation rental: sharpened knives, an anti-fatigue mat at the sink, and labels on the cabinets for easy location of items. Barbara was very friendly and offered to help in every way possible, but the space was so well-equipped and well-maintained that I didn't need anything more. I was only in town to see my son for a few days of his spring break and regret that I was not able to make better use of the living areas. The sunroom in particular looked like a great place to sit and read. Last, but not least: the house and neighborhood are very quiet, which made it easy to sleep at night.

a cozy, clean "home away from home" for a few days

We were thoroughly pleased with our stay at Barb's place!! It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the furnishings added to the coziness, and there was lots of light within the apartment. It was quiet inside the apartment during the day and night. Barb has really paid attention to details when setting up this apartment and thought about the comfort of her guests. The kitchen was set up to cook basic meals with some seasonings, coffee/tea, dishes, utensils, a few small appliances, and pots and pans. The bathroom was stocked with basic toiletries. The back patio and garden area would be a peaceful, green place to be in when it is warm enough outside. The apartment is located in a wonderful neighborhood so one is able to walk to natural areas and even a grocery store and restaurants. Barb quickly responded to our questions and made us feel welcome! Since I grew up in this neighborhood and return to Portland to help my mom, I would definitely stay here again!! Thank you again Barb!!

Home away from home!

Such a perfect accommodation while staying in Portland. This location is some home oriented with all the amenities that you need to feel comfortable. Very clean bathroom, bedroom as well as living area. The neighborhood will give you great peace of mind as it is extremely family oriented. Close to shops and places to dine, you dont have to go far for a bite or any necessities that you may need. Shared laundry is a plus, and the space is good for families 2-4. Thanks for making our trip pleasant.

A nice place to stay in Sellwood

We spent 2 weeks here in a July heatwave. The freestanding air conditioning in the kitchen kept the house comfortable. This is an ideal place for 2 people. A great Select Comfort bed. A nice kitchen, good bathroom, and spacious living room with a nice enclosed front porch for morning coffee or parking your bikes. Plus a lovely little patio garden with a Weber gas BBQ and a nice dining space. This place is about 4 blocks to the MAX metro line, several of bike trails and a lot of nice dining places a few blocks away. And easily accessible to major roads so it’s easy to get in and out. Neighborhood was quiet and Barbara was easy to work with and responded quickly to our few needs. I’d stay here again!
