Magnifique vue, emplacement distant, à seulement 5 miles de la ville! 2 chambres, (roi / roi), 1 maison d'hôtes de bain sur un grand domaine en bordure du pic de Perin.

Un rêve de randonneur - la forêt nationale environnante de Perin's Peak offre de nombreuses randonnées avec des vues à 360 ° absolument renversantes. Une cuisine complète qui a été récemment mise à jour avec tous les nouveaux comptoirs en granit, salon voûté, barbecue à gaz, Internet haut débit, télévision par satellite, DVD BluRay avec Netflix et parking inclus. La salle de bain a également été récemment mis à jour avec un nouveau combo baignoire / douche en céramique / porcelaine. Absolument Non Autorisation de fumer.

Les boutiques et les restaurants du centre-ville de Durango sont à seulement 8 km. Vous cherchez une randonnée? Le sentier du sentier du Colorado, qui s'étend sur 500 km, se trouve à seulement 1, 5 km!

Beautiful mountain home

Great house! Feels like home which is very different than many of the houses we stay in. So many are just corporate rental properties that provide the basics. Owners are very involved with making your stay memorable. Would definatly return if we are in the area again.

Incredible place with amazing hosts

The house and amenities were fantastic! The house and kitchen had everything you could need. Our 6 and 8 year old had the best time, there were kids books, toys, a horseshoe pit, and tons of space they could explore. The views are incredible from the balcony, the out door dining table, or exploring the land. Bill and Bonnie were the ultimate hosts! We can’t wait to go come back. If you are looking for a place to relax, be in nature, and close to town this is it. This was our favorite VRBO to date!

Perfectly charming home away from home

My wife and I stayed here for a week with our two sons (5 and 7), as a home base while we explored the surrounding areas: Durango, Silverton, Ouray, etc. Bill and Bonnie were amazing hosts, and the space itself was perfectly clean, maintained, and well-appointed. My family had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We ended our week wishing that we had more time to stay, and intending to find our way back in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, authentically "Rocky Mountain Colorado" place to call their home away from home.

A wonderful experience.

This is not just a place to stay, it’s an experience. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. It is nestled above the valley with unobstructed views of the buttes. Campfires, horseshoes, trails to hike that open into wilderness areas. Bill was knowledgeable and gave us instructions to get to beautiful hikes that were close by. The 4 star for cleanliness was due to one of the bedrooms had not been dusted and had a thick layer of dust. Otherwise it was very clean. We definitely want to come back!!!

If you want an "out of town" but close to town experience, this is it. Right at 5 mins to the heart of Durango, but you feel like you are 2 hrs out. Incredible views from the front and back areas and the firepit. Comfortable, clean and modern accommodations. And the host is the best! Very welcoming and friendly, and has great suggestions for things to do in the area. Great stay

Fantastic, Memorable, Safe and the Views!!!!

What can I say? Staying at this 75-acre estate was amazing and made our vacation in Durango even more memorable. The hosts are welcoming and are incredible people. We loved getting to know them. If you are like us and don't prefer to stay in the heart of touristy areas, you will love it. We saw deer, wild turkeys and heard so many birds chirping every morning. The views from every part of the property were AMAZING. We felt very safe and there was plenty of space to store our mountain bikes in the barn. The property is kept immaculate. The location is perfect and not very far from town. This was our home away from home. Definitely stay here! You will not regret it.

We found this home and property to be even better than the pictures and description. The mountain views were amazing, wildlife was plentiful and fun to see, the crisp air was refreshing and the home was well appointed and had everything we needed. The location was perfect; very secluded yet 5 mins to Durango. The hosts were friendly and gracious. We would highly recommend this property and we will definitely stay there again when in Durango.

Durango Retreat

My brother and I stayed at this lovely property for 3 nights while exploring Durango. It was the perfect place to come back to after a busy day. We found the home to be as advertised and equipped with everything we needed. It was great to be able to have a washer and dryer to use. Having two master suites with king beds was appreciated as well. The daytime views of the mountains, not to mention the nighttime show of stars, made it an unforgettable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again in the future.

Perfect Private Cabin Outside Durango

This was a lovely home base for a weekend in and around Durango. The hosts are extremely friendly and inviting, though you very much have your own space. Great views and a great time! We look forward to returning.

Very quiet

Lovely get away. Awesome view, let me repeat that, awesome view! We hiked every day because that’s what we love to do. Close enough to town to eat out. The owner can give you lots of info on the area. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect location with a wonderful view!

We were looking for a great place to stay in Durango and did we find it. The location was within minutes of town and also had the view you come to Colorado for. The owners treated us like family and made sure our stay was comfortable. If your looking for quick access to town, a view, wildlife, and a cozy location then look no further!

Awesome place to stay when visiting the San Juans! Bill made us feel at home the moment we arrived. Everything was clean and comfortable. Close enough to town but far enough away to be quiet. The views from the top of the mountain are amazing. Will definitely be booking here again when we come back to Durango!

Amazing views and the most wonderful hosts

We felt like in heaven. The property is located on top of a mountain with amazing views. The hosts treated us like family and our 2-year-old enjoyed the children's books, toys and running around outside. We hope to come back soon!

I highly, highly recommend this guesthouse. I debated on whether to stay in town, or to find somewhere out in the country. We made the right decision. It would be hard to find a more beautiful location than Mount Memories. The setting and views are magnificent, the guesthouse is very comfortable and the owners were very gracious and accommodating. Staying there is a unique experience you will not forget. We are seriously considering a return trip to Durango just so we can stay there again.

Amazing location and views, quiet and peaceful

Really enjoyed our stay. Only negative for me was we spent too much time running all over Durango and almost no time on the property. This place almost begs for you to slow down, stay a bit, read a book, etc. The solitude and stunning views are worth taking an extra day or two to relax and simply enjoy. Everything about the stay was perfect.

Beautiful and serene setting

This property exceeded our expectations! The hosts were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very clean and beds we're comfortable! WiFi, TV and all you need to enjoy an in-house movie was great! But the scenery topped it all. We loved all the seating options outside for our night time viewing of the stars:-) Thank you Bill and Bonnie for being wonderful hosts!!!

Great Views

The views from this location are beautiful! You have views of Durango in the valley and the opposite mountains. It is a great location to sit outside and take in the view. The checkin process is very easy. The owners will meet you at the top of the mountain and provide you an overview of the property and amenities. It was a well stocked “barndeminium” - very clean with everything you need.

Long awaited time away from everything

The property is what we needed, it was quiet, the only neighbor was the owners primary residence, which was far enough away. You are in the mountains, basically on what feels like a private mountain range. Only 14 minutes from downtown Durango.
