A roomy and pleasant property which is indeed a short walk to town. We had our dog and found the neighborhood a lovely place to walk Sasha. In the back is a pretty and well appointed area to sit or to have a meal.
This was a great place to stay, weâll definitely be back!
It was in a perfect location, we were able to walk downtown and to many places near by.
It was great having a private back yard. The house was clean and comfortable. I also appreciated that there were cooking basics and make up remover wipes in the bathroom - Small touches that were a nice and made everything easy!
Thank you for a great stay!
House was exactly as described. Clean, well stocked and charming! The hosts added some holiday decor which made it extra festive! Everything we needed was provided (extra blankets, plenty of towels, kitchen supplies etc âŠ.). Front porch with a swing, screened in back porch and a lovely backyard âŠ. The weather was chilly so we will have to come back in warmer weather to enjoy it!! Great location .. walkable to downtown and the park where there are restaurants and shops. Since it was the holiday season the park was decorated with lots of lights! The host was wonderful! Great communication and responded quickly. Check in and check out was a breeze. Paso is one of our favorite places and now we have a favorite place to stay!
Very comfortable, well equipped little home. Great, safe backyard for my pup. Very responsive management! This is located in a very nice walking neighborhood and close to restaurants and shops.
I did not take a bath for 3 days while here, only sponge bath. When I saw the tub, I got scared to get in. Even my adult children with me were so precautious. For an 80 yr old lady like me, who cannot get up on a step stool just to get in, it was unsafe, what more getting out. This place is not suitable for elderly people.
Coming into Paso for the weekend, this was not only a HIGHLY convenient location, but the house was immensely comfortable. The owners were very communicative, very responsive and the house was absolutely enjoyable. Looking forward to staying here again on our next weekend.
We enjoyed our stay at Paul's sweet cottage. It was homey, comfortable and cool. A great escape from the heat after long days of wine tasting. The kitchen was well stocked, so we were able to cook breakfast and BBQ dinner for our friends who were staying just down the block. Nice towels.
House was located perfectly in a neighborhood walking distance to the downtown. We had our 2 dogs with us and they fully loved sunning in the backyard after their morning walks. We also spent a good deal of time on the screened in porch while cooking dinner. Kitchen has everything you need to cook - no dishwasher but that was okay for us. Bathroom has a claw foot tub/shower. Not a problem for us but others with mobility issue should take note. Back bedroom is the quieter of the two in the house. Front bedroom is on a busy street. Just an FYI. House was very clean and well taken care of. It was perfect for us as we spent most of the day walking/hiking/wine tasting/shopping on the downtown. Overall, we were thrilled with our stay and hope to be back soon
This was a great property for our trip to Paso! Close to everything. Cute place with everything youâd need. Owner was friendly, helpful and very prompt in responding. Weâd definitely stay again!
We are return visitors to this rental. The landlord is always helpful and friendly. The place is always clean and is well situated for downtown proximity. You will not regret your choice if you stay here.
Love the property. This is our second time staying here. great location...1/2 mile from square--easy walk. Quaint area. On a busy street, but that did not bother us at all. Backyard is so relaxing. Highly recommend!
We had a lovely girlsâ reunion at Paulâs cute little house. Immaculate and comfortable, with everything we needed. We liked all the notes and information notebook left to make our stay easy. The only issue we had was the claw foot tub/shower arrangement. For us 70 year old women it was very scary trying to get in and out and not slip and fall. If budget allows in the future I would suggest updating that to make it usable for all ages and abilities. Otherwise, wonderful home and we really enjoyed our stay in Paso.
Fantastic place to stay. a 5 minute walk to the downtown square, along friendly streets. Everything is EXACTLY as described on the VRBO listing. Everything is provided, and very cozy, yet, roomy, at the same time. There were just 2 of us. One bathroom, so would be crowded for 2 couples, but perfect for us and our pup! Highly recommend!
I stayed at this property in January and loved the location so much, I booked it again for a trip in May! Clean, plenty of room, great location near a lot of food options downtown and at the Paso Market Walk. Thanks for another great stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The house had everything we needed, including a fenced yard so we could bring our dog. The kitchen was well equipped. About the only thing the property lacks is a dishwasher, but we didn't really need one as we ate most meals out.
This is the second time I've rented this house in Paso and again, it did not disappoint. LOVE IT! Very conveniently located, only a few blocks from downtown. One piece of constructive criticism I have would be to upgrade the mattresses. If you are sleeping alone, they are just fine. BUT when you have two people (especially with someone who moves around a lot) you will feel like you are on a trampoline. The beds are very bouncy and you feel any and all movement. They make a loud squeaking noise too. . . so much that my husband had to sleep on the couch for me to get a good nights sleep. Other than that, this house is 5 Stars!! We'll be back!
We come to Paso often and this house is in a great spot near everything! Check in and out was super easy. The backyard space is so nice for hanging out with a bottle of Paso wine. We loved it!
My sister and I stayed at this lovely 2 bedroom 1 bath craftsman. It was perfect for us. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very comfortable with everything you need. There is space in the back for eating, BBQing, or sitting around a fire pit. It was raining like crazy when we were there, so we sat on the enclosed back patio. Instructions were throughout the house and easy to follow. A few things to note: it is on a busy street. While quiet in the middle of the night, rush hour can get loud. I was in the front room and always bring earplugs, so I slept fine. Shower is part of a claw foot tub. It is high to get in and out of, but a step-stool is provided but if you are elderly it may be challenging. I am 63 and hung on to the sink stepping in and out. Recommend Fish Goucho for dinner and Cowgirl Cafe for breakfast. We took a Grapevine full day winery tour which was wonderful. We will be back :)
Since before we were all Mr and Mrs, we have been coming to Paso to have a get-away from our busy lives and enjoy the great wines. Families have come together to continue our memories with our kids at one of our favorite vacation spots in California. We hope that you enjoy our little house and Paso just as much as we all do.
We wanted a house that would be perfect for a friends to come for the weekend as well as a family of 4. The ability to walk into town was a must for us and a central location to all the wineries.
We loved the large backyard so we can enjoy dinners outside as well as the porch swing out front to share a glass of wine at sunset. The open layout and airy feel of the house was perfect for all the Paso seasons and the location is one of the best in the area.
