Ocean Front House avec une plage privée et un jardin de dunes

It was a pleasure to have your family including Sofie as our guest. We are glad that you all had a wonderful week at our beach house.

All of our guests over past 8 years have appreciated and enjoyed 1937 built cottage like appeal of our beach house. Understandably, this comes with its own experience of boutique living. The house already has a water pressure pump installed in the basement which regulates adequate water pressure. We have contacted the plumber to check if it needs any adjustment. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. All window AC units: we replace them new as needed. They are all 'residential units' bought from Home Depot and Costco meant for normal 'residential use'. Unfortunately, they give out some noise. We apologize for that inconvenience to this family. We do not offer personal sanitary amenities and linen since COVID because our guests prefer to and insist on bring their own supplies (some of them even bring their own pillows) rather than using those sitting in the house. The house has its own private sitting area with gas grill, dining table with umbrella and chairs as well as bar chairs with tables. It also has another own private dune deck with chairs and table. Sorry for any misunderstanding but as clearly explained at the time of initial tour of the property on arrival, the only shared seating area is on top of the dune which is shared with the guests our other house that is in the front of this house. This is because the township and DEP allow only ONE deck per each Ocean front property on top of post Sandy replenished dune. For the same reason, neighboring rental properties have such sitting area shared by multiple units. We are glad that the family enjoyed the beach that is a part of our property.

We thank you for being our guest at our lovely Beach Cottage. Ours being a cottage, there is no room like they have in motels/hotels to install an ice maker. The refrigerator has capability to make ice. We also have a freezer in the basement where guests usually store ice bags. This year the township decided not provide trolly service because they used most of the budget towards rebuilding roads and street parkings. One of our previous guests left burning fire pit unattended and uncovered at the night time. For the obvious reason, one of the neighbors send video to the township. We ended up paying hafty fines to DEP and township, and they ordered us to remove the fire pit on the vey next day. We apologize for the inconvenience about bathroom upstairs but that is the best modification we could do preserving original structure of the cottage. Ours being an old house, when both floor bathrooms are being used at the same time, water pressure goes down but we have installed a water pressure pump to avoid this issue. We apologize for any and all other inconvenience to you during your stay. We wish you and family a safe and wonderful rest of the summer season.

Thank you for the review. Suggestions are well taken. Cable has been upgraded and all the sports channels including ESPN now available. Curtain has been installed on the slider in master bed room to prevent sunlight early in the morning if someone wants to sleep in late.
