Really cute house in a really cute neighborhood. Hot tub was used and was relaxing on a cool morning or cool evening!House is walking distance to Farmers Market and restaurants, and was fun to walk to them.
Wonderful location and the home had everything we needed. Got quick responses from host. We had our cadet with us for a night during parents weekend. Love that we could walk downtown for coffee and some of the best French onion soup!!
Home was extremely dirty. Bed sheets didnât look to be clean as there were long hairs all over them. The hot tub looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. We didnât even attempt to access it because of the outside appearance. The listing says the home has A/C. This is misleading because there is a window unit in the main bedroom which did not cool the home. The back bedroom has a fan and it was a bit warm while visiting. The bed in the main bedroom was extremely uncomfortable - you pretty much rolled into the person sleeping with you because of the divot in the bed. Additionally, I never felt really secure while in the home because it was impossible to deadbolt the front door. We ended up leaving after night 1 of our 3 day reservation.
The property worked perfectly for our family of 4 (including 4 and 7 year olds). It was close to a lot of attractions, and the property was exactly as described.
This was a great home, friendly hosts, and excellent addition to our CO vacation! Home is close to many family activities, as well as food/dining/shopping. We enjoyed our stay!
Central location and easily walkable to Old Colorado City shops and restaurants. Short drive to Garden of the Gods, hiking, and site seeing. Ten to 15 minute drive to south gate of USAFA. Kitchen is well stocked and extremely clean. Recommend for 1-2 people.
Wonderful stay at this property. Very clean and beds very comfortable. Loved the shower, enjoyed the hot tub. The bathroom being inside the master bedroom was not a problem for us but might be an issue with a larger group. Felt safe in the neighborhood. Close to Garden of the Gods.
Nice neighborhood, with friendly folks. Felt like a small town, but was close to all the things you needed ( food shopping gas etc ).
Lovely little home, with a complete and well furnished kitchen.
Loved our time there.
From check in to check out, great communication with property manager. Well appointed kitchen, modern bathroom, great location. Hot tub was a welcome addition. Highly recommend.
Small but well done. Great for my son and me. Bathroom is in master bedroom--so some maneuveriing required! Hot tub, fire pit out back were very nice. Neighborhood very quaint and safe--across the street from a church! Would stay again.
This house is super city though small and the only bathroom is off the primary bedroom. I stayed here with my sister and she had to go through the my bedroom to go to the bathroom, which at night was problematic. We also had an issue with the smoke alarm which kept going off and I have to say the manager or owner was not that helpful. At one point we were thinking weâd have to stay in a hotel but weâre able to disconnect it at the last minute. Not ideal to have a non-functioning smoke alarm. Throughout, the manager kinda offered to send someone over but actually never did, so when we got back from a wedding late at night we had to scramble to figure out what to do. Donât get me wrong, itâs a cute house, in a cute neighborhood with a nice hot tub out back - so there is potential for a great stay. Unfortunately ours left us with a sour taste in the mouth.
We made ourselves comfortable but bath, AC and hot tub kept losing power needs attention. Front porch hand rail too loose dangerous. Back yard needs cleaned. Clean with amenities well provided.
The house was adorable. The location was perfect for shopping and dining. The hot tub was a very welcome sight after a full day of hiking adventures. The host was super responsive and the website had all the information we needed. Will definably be booking again.
I had never been to CO and started the week off at the Garden of the Gods resort but wanted to spend some time closer to the lively parts. I went back and forth over Downtown Colorado versus Old Colorado Springs and I am so glad I chose a property in the latter. Super cute, walkable (felt very safe) town and a quick 10 minute drive to downtown. Property was clean and in a quiet part of town. The hot tub was a seller point for me but we never used it. We were pleased with our stay and enjoyed the proximity to all of our bucket list adventures
We arrived to find the electricity only workd in the kitchen. No wifi no ac no lights in master bedroom or bathroom no tv & no hot tub. The worst part was the owners of the place wouldnât answer our phone calls or return our calls. We had to find somewhere else to stayđfrustrating
We loved this house! Super cute, clean and perfect location for everything there is to do in Colorado Springs. We could ride our bikes to town! After a long day of hiking and biking the hot tub was perfect! Very nice house to come home to! Loved reading in the back yard and watching the squirrels! We will be back! Thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay near Old Colorado City. The kids loved making s'mores in the fire pit and we found the kitchen perfect for making all our meals. Highly recommend!
Perfect location and area for intended purpose of my individual trip. I typically do not travel solo and had my better half accompanied me these accommodations would have suited us both quite easily and comfortably. Will consider another stay for the both of us around the same time next year. Cheers.
We ourselves were first vacationers to Colorado Springs several years ago before moving here from the midwest, and absolutely love it! The mountains and red rocks are always inviting adventure, and the sun shines just about every day!
Visit once and you'll see that the charm of the Colorado Springs region really is within Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs. Neighboring Garden of the Gods, Red Rocks Open Space, the Cog Railway up to Pike's Peak, Downtown Colorado Springs, cute shops in old Victorian style...we chose this home specifically to make it a vacation rental as we knew it was in such a desirable location!
Walking distance to farmers market, coffee shops, shopping, and restaurants in Old Colorado City. Minutes from Garden of the Gods with horseback riding, hikes, & rock climbing, Manitou Springs, Downtown Colorado Springs, Cliff Dwellings, Cave of the Winds, scenic trails, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and so much more!!
