Small alleyways, cosy stone houses and a typical Cretan village square surrounded by kafenions and small tavernas complete the village idyll. In small shops you can buy everything you need for your stay, from fresh eggs to bread and vegetables and delicious wines. The beautiful Komos beach is only about 2 kilometres from here, and the famous caves of Matala are 4 kilometres away.
