One block from the beach, our recently renovated, top-floor, corner penthouse has hosted guests for over 10 years and carries more than 330 reviews. Being the corner unit on the top floor means light from two directions, no neighbors above, and a balcony with a view over the pastel art deco rooftops, with a peek of the ocean down the street.

Inside, the king bedroom and queen bedroom sit at opposite ends of the floor plan, each near its own full bath, so two couples or a family spread out without crossing paths. The living room's queen sofa bed handles guests five and six, and the open kitchen's bar counter keeps the cook in the room.

The condo comes ready for the beach: chairs, umbrella, cooler, sand toys, and beach towels stocked, with the shore close enough that you'll come back for lunch. A free assigned garage spot handles the car, and the in-unit washer and dryer handle everything else.

• Our free assigned garage spot fits sedans and compact cars comfortably. Larger vehicles have squeezed in, but if you're renting an SUV or minivan, message us first and we'll help you plan parking. Street parking is paid.
• Garage entry has a manual button inside, in addition to the remote clicker.
• Beach gear is stored in the garage, across from parking spot #1.
• We keep a quiet building, with quiet hours from 10 PM. Guests looking for restful nights love it here; groups planning late nights will be happier elsewhere.
• The building is a classic art deco 5-story walk-up with an elevator, it carries the styling but was built in the early 2000s.
• The Nespresso takes original line pods, not Vertuo, so bring yours from home or grab them nearby.
• A refundable $350 security deposit is collected after booking and is not included in your Airbnb total.
• A smoke detector and decibel monitor is installed out of care for neighbours.
