Perfect 2-bedroom condo close to everything in delightful Gulf Shores

Everything you need, nothing you don't! This newly renovated 2-bedroom condo is located in Gulf Shores, Alabama, and while not on the beach is within 1/4 mile from The Hangout and the beach access! Located 50 yards behind Papa Rocco's Pizza and Oysters and Scoops Ice Cream, you are literally within 200 yards from the Water Park, Souvenir shops, numerous restaurants, and, yes, even a liquor store! Free parking (!) for two vehicles means you get access to everything you want without having to fight traffic. There is a canal immediately behind the unit with a dock and the canal leads to the bay, and from there to the Gulf. Yes, you can park a shallow draft pontoon boat at the dock as the canal usually has a 4-foot depth. Fishing is allowed from the dock, and kids usually have a blast trying their luck. The kitchen is fully furnished to include a Keurig and a Crock Pot, and all appliances are new. A gas grill is available, as well as a kayak and paddle along with an XL life Jacket. The street is quiet, and the walls are solid so there is almost no noise from adjoining units. It is a perfect little get away that spares you from having to pay for amenities that you don't need or want. If you want to avoid the high beachfront prices without having to get a second mortgage, yet still treat yourself to a vacation, this is it. Here's the bad news: No pool, exercise room, hot tub, or elevator. No pets. Sorry, I've allowed folks to bring pets before and it always ended in a dumpster fire. To gain access to the unit you have to climb 14 stairs; ask me how I know. But, other than the above, there are no other down-sides. I own several high-end properties in Orange Beach (Escapes to the Shores Condo, VRBO Listings 573619 & 2191970) but when I come down to the beach I stay here. For a reason. Give it a try and you can thank me later.
