Cougar Ct Suite is nestled on a quiet 2 acre wooded lot in walking distance to beautiful sandy beaches and sunsets of Lake Michigan via paved bike / walking paths, offers the perfect cozy retreat for couples.

The guest suite features a woodsy theme with a modern flavor and features a kitchenette and ample living area and private bedroom / bathroom suite. The suite also provides access to an elevated outdoor flagstone porch/patio overlooking the property.

The space
Cougar Ct Suite offers just about everything you need for an economical stay near the water front.

A flagstone patio is perched high overlooking the property with a outdoor dining table, chairs and umbrella.

Upon entering the 700 sqft suite you'll be greeted by an open living setting complete with big screen TV with surround sound, Apple TV, Netflix and WiFi (sorry no live/cable TV at this time). A kitchenette features seating for 4 at our handmade, high top maple table, multimode microwave/convection oven, 2 burner cook-top, sink and full refrigerator. No dishwasher available. Kitchen is stocked with baking sheets, cooking pots/pans, tableware, and most essentials for cooking small meals.

The queen bedroom features Amish built furniture, HD TV, Apple TV and Netflix for your entertainment enjoyment (sorry no live/cable TV at this time). A pull out couch is also available in the living area that is best suited to young children.

A full bathroom provides a shower and is stocked with fresh towels and linens, hair dryer, soaps, shampoo and body wash (non-toxic and green).

2 beach towels, 2 beach chairs and beach umbrella are provided. No snorkeling gear available.

For the health of our guests and the health of our environment the suite is regularly cleaned with Shaklee non-toxic, earth friendly cleaning products.

Outdoor area
Cougar Court Suite is on the walkout level of our two story 5 bedroom home. During your stay you will have the freedom to enjoy the outdoor semi-private east end of the property complete with outdoor dining table and chairs and a private entrance.

Parking
Shared driveway parking with the host is provided. Guests may have up to 2 vehicles depending on hosts' schedule. Please notify hosts if more than one parking space is needed.

Steps
Note, access to the Suite requires navigation of irregular landscape steps. An alternate grassy walkway / ramp is also available.

Other things to note
As a shared space with our home, the suite's temperature is controlled as part of the homes' overall HVAC system. We will do our best to accommodate guest preferences but, during extreme weather conditions, getting precise temperature control can be challenging. Guests are encouraged to communicate their temperature preferences and to make use of provided space heaters to help accommodate temperature preferences.

Winter access
Cougar Ct Suite will be widely available April through October, for 28 day or greater bookings. November through March is also available but, due to a steep driveway and potential for snow, we ask that only guests with AWD or 4WD vehicles book in November through March.
