The Space
Trailhead of Estes is a comfortable mountain condo in the Marys Lake area of Estes Park, designed as a home base for hiking, wildlife viewing, scenic drives, lake days, downtown Estes Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park.
This condo is ideal for couples, families, small groups, hikers, and explorers who want a peaceful place to relax while staying close to the best of Estes Park. Enjoy mountain views, fresh alpine air, and convenient access to trails and attractions without being right in the middle of town.

The condo sleeps up to 6 guests with 2 bedrooms and a pull-out couch in the living room. The primary bedroom features a king bed, TV, mountain views from every window, and a spacious ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower and dual shower heads. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, TV, and access to a full bathroom attached to the bedroom and shared with the main living area.
The living room includes a pull-out couch, 2 reclining chairs, gas fireplace, TV, and large windows with mountain views. It is an easy space to gather after a day of hiking, watch a movie, warm up by the fireplace, play games, or plan the next day’s adventure.
The kitchen is one of the larger kitchens in the complex, as this was the builder’s unit, and is fully stocked for a comfortable stay. Guests will have cookware, utensils, dishes, glassware, coffee essentials, meal prep items, a full-size refrigerator, oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, bar seating, dining table, and a wine cooler for chilled drinks after a day outside.
Step onto the oversized private porch to enjoy mountain views, fresh air, outdoor dining, and the grill. It is a great place for morning coffee, dinner at sunset, or relaxing after exploring Estes Park. Wildlife is part of the Estes Park experience, and elk are often seen throughout the area, especially in fall and winter.
Trailhead of Estes is being set up with hikers and explorers in mind. We provide 2 hiking backpacks and trail-friendly gear so guests can arrive, drop off their luggage, and head straight toward the trails.

Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire condo except for an owner’s closet.
Guests may also enjoy the community pool and hot tub, typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. These amenities are managed by the HOA, so availability may vary due to weather, maintenance, repairs, or seasonal operating decisions.
Rocky Mountain National Park Timed Entry Notice
RMNP uses a timed entry reservation system during peak season, typically late May through mid-October. Timed entry may be required for certain areas and entry times, including Bear Lake Road. Reservations are made through Recreation.gov and are separate from the park entrance fee or park pass.
Reservations can sell out quickly, especially on weekends, holidays, and peak summer dates. Guests should review the official Rocky Mountain National Park website before their trip, as rules, dates, entry windows, and availability may change.
House Rules, Fees, and Policies
Vehicle Recommendation: During snowy months, typically October through May, we strongly recommend a 4WD or AWD vehicle. Mountain weather can change quickly, and roads, driveways, and parking areas may become icy or snow-packed. The Town of Estes Park and our HOA do a great job with snow removal, but winter driving conditions may still occur.
ATV / UTV Policy: Unlicensed vehicles, including ATVs and UTVs, cannot be driven on county roads. Please trailer them to approved off-road areas. No trailers may be parked in our community at any time due to HOA guidelines.
No Pets: This home is pet-free. Unauthorized pets may result in additional cleaning fees.
No Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the condo. Additional cleaning fees may apply if smoke is detected indoors. Please check Larimer County for current fire bans related to campfires, outdoor smoking, and fire pits.
Checkout Time: Please respect the designated checkout time. Late departures may result in additional fees so our team has time to prepare the home for the next guests.
No Parties or Events: Parties and events are not allowed.
Guest Count: The number of guests may not exceed 6 at any time during your stay.
Quiet Hours: Per HOA guidelines, quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM.
Firearms: For safety, firearms may not be left unattended on the property. If a firearm is left behind, it will be securely stored for retrieval.
No Mail or Packages: We cannot accept mail or packages at the condo. Please use a local Amazon Locker, UPS Store, or other pickup option.
No Commercial Use: Commercial use is not allowed without prior written approval.
Amenity Malfunctions & Refunds: Some amenities, including community hot tubs, pools, and shared HOA amenities, are outside our direct control. Occasional closures or malfunctions may happen. Refunds are not offered for unavailable HOA-managed amenities, but we will report issues promptly and assist where possible.
Before You Arrive: Guests must complete a short rental acknowledgement and registration form after booking. A secure link will be sent after your reservation is confirmed. Check-in details are provided once completed.
