Magical location and grounds. Great place to "check out" from reality for a bit and enjoy nature & each other. Odd comment, but the variety of rocks at the creek is amazing (I didn't know I was such a rock-a-holic!). Perfect getaway! (Just the two of us this trip, but a friend had rented for a girls weekend awhile back & it worked great for friends as well.) Enjoy!

The photos don’t do this property justice! It is a cozy cabin nestled in towering redwoods with the most pristine creek running behind it. We enjoyed jumping in a wonderful swimming hole just upstream and drinking our coffee on the shore each morning. The outside space has everything you need and while the inside is small it has everything that four people would require and the perfect amount of space. We also enjoyed the large windows where we could take in the soaring trees outside. We wished we could have stayed longer.Thank you to Joe for smooth communication and easy check-in and check out.

Amazing Place

The home was so cozy and out little one LOVED all the kids toys and games. We loved taking evening walks along the river and swimming in the swimming holes during the day. The home was very clean and we can’t wait to return!

Quiet getaway.

We had a nice quick trip. Great place for dogs with the fenced yard. Location is nice and quiet to just relax. Could have just say and listened to the creek all day.

Great spot in the woods and on the creek

This is a great little place with everything one could possibly need. Located on Austin Creek amidst the redwoods. Great location, close to Duncan Mills, the river, and the coast. Very cool yard with fire pit, Adirondack chairs, etc. Really a nice peaceful spot with all of the comforts of home. Would most definitely visit again.

Lovely home by the creek

The house offered perfect accommodations for the various weather conditions. Rain - enjoyed the indoor fireplace and playing boardgames. Sunshine - enjoyed relaxing by the creek.

Amazing place to get away with the dogs

I was looking for a laid back getaway with our dogs. This property was exactly that! Loved having the secured fenced property where the dogs could roam while we relaxed by the fire-pit. I wish the path to the creek was not so challenging, but we still managed to get down there everyday. We were amazed at how clear the water was. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful location

We loved the location overlooking the river in the Redwoods. Close to several spots like Jenner and wine country. The yard itself could use a bit of work, also a DVD/Bluray player would have been a great addition. Checkout at 10am seemed a bit early to us as well.

Country living

Child and pet friendly home with lots of toys for the whole family. Large fenced yard filled with little nooks for playing. Path down to the beach can be slippery.

Price is what you pay, value is what you get. Not the cheapest rental I’ve been in, but everything worked, looked great, and the Vacasa staff bent over backwards to make sure everything was first rate!

only suggestion would be to install a short ramp to the side door. too many stairs for an older dog.

Little House on the Creek

Nice little cabin on the creek short walk to 2 different swimming holes. Dog friendly with a nice landscaped and fenced in yard. No poison oak in site which was a first for any trip to Cazadero. We will most likely try to stay here again when are back up that way. All of the popular streaming services were provided so we did not have to use our logins. The only real issue was the down bedding which was and allergy starter, but there were other blankets so no muss no fuss.

Access to Creek challenging if ur older. No place for luggage or clothes , closets filled with items

Setting peaceful, property private. Short trips out take you to Jenner and Duncan Mills with fun shop. The set up of first floor bedroom should be reviewed. Closet space and bed against the wall should be reconsidered.

Really Nice Trees on Property

Could use some better kitchenware and better mattress upstairs--foam pad isnt comfortable. Locks on cabinets in kitchen not very welcoming.Get little creek! Can get a little noisey being by road. We did enjoy our stay though!

Peaceful and quiet

The yard is not very well kept and the pictures look way better then what it actually looks like. We pulled out the hide a couch and it was very dirty. We had to re wash a lot of the dishes. Other then that we enjoyed our stay very much. Did not want to leave.
