This gorgeous lakefront home is the perfect spot for a vacation getaway! Boasting beautiful views and access to the water, you and your family are going to feel right at home in this updated cabin. The home has a fully-equipped kitchen with anything you may need to whip up a quick meal and plenty of space for both dining and relaxing. You'll love the outside and the private dock where you can bring your own boat or a rental! Enjoy meals out of on the back patio picnic table while soaking up those stunning water views! What's nearby: Located in downtown Eagle River, you'll be walking distance to events, restaurants, movies, and shopping! The home is situated right on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes, which is the largest inland chain of lakes in the world! It's a great spot for fishing and all kinds of motorized water sports! You'll have easy access to the snowmobiles trail system which is world-renowned. You definitely won't want to miss out! Things to know: Full kitchen (with a dishwasher) The family dogs are welcome with a small nightly fee A high chair and Pack-N-Play are provided Private washer/dryer Snowbird-friendly. Great Eagle River getaway!

We loved the coziness of this home, and it's location right on the river and within walking distance of downtown Eagle River. The kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed, there were plenty of towels in the bathroom, and the deck area was very large and spacious.

Great Lake house for a family of 4. Nice outdoor space and dock. Very walkable to town. Extremely good internet for those that need to work. We will be back.

Great location. Centrally located on the River. Very nice bathroom. Lots of wildlife wandered up close to the house. Comfortable beds. Nicely stocked kitchen.

Great Stay

Cabin was very nice and exactly as expected. We had everything we needed including fast WiFi and comfortable climate control. Outdoor area what better than advertised. Quiet with great deck and seating areas on deck and around fire pit. We brought our boat and took advantage of the dock and access to beautiful chain of lakes.

This place is awesome! Had everything we needed and more. Loved sitting on the deck watching the boats. Kayaked nearly everyday. House was very nice, clean and comfortable. Very relaxing. We will be back!

Great location and amenities

The location was so lovely! The area felt nice and private and also so serene. Waking up and having breakfast outside looking at the river, was so lovely. The amenities were also so great! Two grills, so much outdoor seating, dishwasher, washer/dryer, amazing shower. I could go on! Great space for a couple or a small group of people. Would highly recommend!

Beautifully appointed property. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking vessels, etc. The queen bed was very comfortable. I think potential renters should be aware that the house is on the river and not a lake, in case that type of a view is important to one.

Great stay!!

Had a really nice stay at Honey Badger Lodge. It’s an adorable little cabin with everything you need. Loved the dual shower. Very clean. Huge deck out front. The listing should update that there are plenty of deck chairs and patio furniture. We brought our own which weren’t needed. Thanks for the great stay! :)

Wonderful

Wonderful get away. Close to town to retrieve items as needed but secluded from city life. Beautiful river to gaze upon. A family of deer wondered across the property in the morning’s. The house is exceptionally tidy and bed is comfortable. There is no cable or WiFi (which changed after the reservation was made) but with an adapter to your phone and unlimited data anything is possible. A much needed R&R was received here.

It wasn't bad, wasn't amazing

Cabin size was nice for 2 couples. No cable or internet was a bit rough. It wouldn't be the place to stay if you needed to work remotely for a day. The water to the shower/toilet was messed up but maintenance fixed that the first day. The walk from the driveway to the cabin is about 150ft so if you have a lot of stuff to haul it's not ideal. The walking path also wasn't shoveled...just snow packed from walking on basically. It wasn't a horrible stay but we won't be booking this one again.

Nice but could use some fixing up

This is a cute little cabin near downtown with a view of water. There were several things that I’d liked about the property: the beds were nice and firm, the shower was really good, all the streaming services were available on the TV. some of the things that need Fixing: the front door spring does not work so it always slams, there are tiles that are broken in the shower and they are a hazard, there was cobwebs and a lot of corners and lots of spiders, the deck needs improvements – there were several holes that were a tripping hazard, and there were lights that were broken . In general, the deck needs a good cleaning it. It was so uninviting Just a little bit of fixing could go a long way.

Great Place (but no A/C)

Great updated cabin on very convenient location. Only issue is that listing states there is partial A/C which I took to mean that there is at least window A/C units; however, there is no A/C installed in the cabin at all at this time. The A-coil is installed on top of the furnace, but there is no compressor, so no A/C. We happened to go on a cooler week, and only had one or two "bad" nights (there is a fan or ceiling fan in each bedroom and LR). However, as the summer progresses, you may want to verify that the A/C installation has been completed. Staff was very attentive, and resolved our minor issues/questions immediately. We would definitely stay again, but would need to verify A/C is during the summer. Again, great cabin!

Thank you for your review, Greg. We are so glad you enjoyed the cabin and apologize if you were uncomfortable with the heat. As of January 2021, this home now has full air conditioning and excellent internet service. We hope to see you again!
