The Space:

Spirit of the Sea is the answer to all the questions you may have. This family-friendly home offers all the conveniences of a home and convenient beach access– there is a walking path right next to the house that leads directly to the soft sand and warm water of Popponesset Beach. It is a short quarter-mile walk down the path to the beach across a picturesque bridge on Dean Pond. Family barbecues can easily take place on the deck, which boasts a convenient outdoor dining area and gas grill. The perfect setting! There are also two outdoor showers to rinse off the sand after a sunny day at the beach. Inside, this charming home offers a cozy open floor plan that combines the kitchen, living room, and dining room. The living room has a wall-mounted Smart TV and two comfortable sofas. Just when you thought you'd have to miss your favorite series, this home has all the answers! Don't hesitate to plan movie nights with your loved ones. The fully equipped kitchen has all the appliances you could need to prepare favorite snacks for movie nights and full-course meals. The Keurig coffee maker will be everyone's best friend, especially in the mornings. The basement features a recreation room with a foosball table and a television. Things to Know Beach chairs are provided. The home is equipped with a Washer ONLY - NO DRYER House Rules Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Amazing stay!

We loved this property and the location was amazing! Such a quick walk to the beach then having 2 outdoor showers were perfect at the end of the day! We def will be back!

We had a fabulous time at the Cape and this home was perfect for our group. So close to the beach and the cute marketplace nearby. Highly recommend this location and home.

Great Mashpee location!

The house is a little small and dated, but still met our needs perfectly. Short walk to a beautiful beach and the owner thought of everything to make the house a great place to stay - from kitchen supplies, to outdoor seating. We really enjoyed our trip!

Wonderful Gem of a Home

Nice home, steps from a private beach. This place did everything I needed it to. Nice sitting space, kitchen, and dining space in an concept with three bedrooms. Great private deck off the back.. Easy access to Mashpee Commons. The place is small...they tell you as much. Also has an old cape charm. I would definitely stay again..

The house is located on a lovely street and proximity to the beach is fabulous. Unfortunately, numerous difficulties arose with regards to the plumbing. Clearly this was not a unique circumstance since there were signs requesting guests to use the outdoor shower and upon arrival there was an industrial toilet snake on the side of the driveway. Property management did respond to our requests, however the issues were more than what could be easily remedied. It seems irresponsible to rent this property until these plumbing issues are properly addressed.
