The Space:

Bright and colorful, this waterfront condo puts you and your guests close to the beach and grants access to a host of great Sea Colony amenities. Enjoy bold colors and seaside sensibilities throughout this home, along with a well-equipped full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar, a dining table for six, and an inviting living area with a large sectional sofa, a gas fireplace, and a cable-equipped flatscreen TV. Step through the sliding glass doors and into your screened-in, furnished patio where you can dine al fresco, or settle into one of the comfortable chairs and watch the ducks playing out on the adjacent lake. Throughout the Sea Colony community, you'll find a variety of resort-style amenities, including shared outdoor and indoor pools, hot tubs, a fitness center, and world-class tennis courts.



Hop aboard the community shuttle to discover private Sea Colony beaches in the area. A mile away, visit the Marketplace with its restaurants and shops. Explore downtown Bethany Beach with its boardwalk, gift shops, and unique dining options, all less than two miles from your door. Discover the dunes and the surf areas in Fenwick Island State Park, take some photos of the WWII Observation Tower, and don't miss Holts Landing State Park for incredible birdwatching.



THINGS TO KNOW



Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.



Important: Your stay is within the Sea Colony Resort which has a mandatory amenity fee that is an additional cost. Not purchasing your required Sea Colony Resort Fee prior to your arrival may delay your VueStay reservation Check-in.

The Sea Colony community association requires a non-refundable, mandatory resort fee for all guests aged 4 and older. This fee grants access to community-managed facilities and is collected by VueStay on behalf of Sea Colony. Rates are subject to change without notice, and VueStay does not guarantee amenity availability.

A great place to stay in Bethany Beach

This was a great 3 bedroom, two bath unit with a large kitchen filled with everything that was needed for cooking meals. Comfortable beds and couches and located on a beautiful pond.

Great house for a family beach vacation

The house was comfortable and a good size. The furnishings were attractive and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed the screened in porch with a pretty view of the lake.

Needs some work

Very nicely decorated and furnished condo, but a couple of major issues to be addressed: First, the place had a musty smell. Second, the master bed was uncomfortable. More minor is that the shower faucet needs to be fixed so it doesn’t keep popping out.

Perfect spot for a long weekend

We really enjoyed the ease of check-in/check-out. The place was clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen. They had bedding and bath towels, so we didn't have to bring any. They leave starter paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and sponge. The tram takes you to any pool at Sea Colony that you want to go, as well as, their private beach. It is a bit dated, decor wise, but very clean and the AC works great! There is a lovely screened in porch, overlooking a little water way and the birds and turtles were fun to watch. There were young families, some couples, a lot of polite people......felt very safe and the entire property is beautifully maintained. The only complaint is that I felt tricked in the beginning of the process. I almost felt sick because I hadn't confirmed pricing or dates with my friends, but thought I would be able to cancel if need be, as we were renting for a year later.... I thought I was renting through VRBO and would have time to decide and share info with my friends, however, it is really rented through Vacasa (a completely different site, with different "rules.").... and once they confirm your reservation, there is no refund or cancellation. You have to fill out a lease, pay for parking pass, service fee and ammenity passes to use the tram, pools and beach, on top of the price. Because of this, I had to pay for 3/4 of the high price for four days because my friends said they would not be able to contribute the amount it ended up being. Not sure why they are on VRBO site, which offers cancellation and partial payments. I will say, though, that dealing with Vacasa, other than the switcheroo, was fine. We will be back, just will use the Vacasa sight, now that we are aware of the conditions.
