The property was just as described a great house, very welcoming and even better location close to the ocean and any restaurant or store you could want. Communication with the owners was easy very quick to respond to any needs we had.We absolutely had a great time at this VRBO besides one small issue. Normally, I do not write reviews but I think it’s important to share. One of the reasons I rented this VRBO was for the fire pit in the backyard. Unfortunately, the neighbor had concerns about the smoke from the fire drifting and we were asked to extinguish the fire. We were gone probably 75 to 80% of the time enjoying or enjoying everything Wilmington has to offer, but if we were at the house, we had a fire going or even cooking hotdogs over the fire. We were actually asked to put out the fire because this is a residential area and had to keep the fires only in the evening time because of the neighbor calling and complaining about the smoke from the fire going into the yard. So if you don’t care about fires in the fire pit, this is a great place to rent.That being said, this house is in a wonderful location, beautiful, and close to everything. It is a fabulous VRBO besides the fire pit issue. Also the Trader Joe “Tingle” shampoo and body wash, cookies, the welcome sign in the entrance, plus many other little things made this a very special get away with my daughter. Thank you!

What I enjoy most is how relaxing and welcoming this area feels. After a full day of adventure, you can come home to a quiet, walkable neighborhood surrounded by coastal pine trees. Whether you’re unwinding in the private backyard or enjoying a laid‑back evening on the spacious porch under the stars, this neighborhood truly captures the coastal lifestyle that made me fall in love with Wilmington.
