Escape the city hustle to a beautifully remodeled, three-level waterfront retreat designed for ultimate group fun! Nestled on 450 feet of pristine Lake Hartwell shoreline with a dock in deep water (no issues with the drought here!), this spacious 4-bedroom home comfortably sleeps up to 15 guests (and up to 3 furry friends 🐾, no size limit!).

The Ultimate Hangout: A separate, private recreation building featuring a pool table 🎱, smart TV, and extra bunk beds—perfect for giving the adults some peace and quiet in the main house or for adults to enjoy their own fun!

🚤 Lakefront Luxury: Cruise down to your covered, double-slip dock on the complimentary golf cart. Enjoy deep, weed-free water, private beach access 🏖️, and complimentary kayaks and a paddleboard. Bring your own boat or ask us about local motorized watercraft rentals to explore lakeside restaurants. **We have no drought issues in our location.**

🍽️ Chef’s Kitchen & Deck: Whip up family feasts in a fully equipped kitchen with brand-new stainless appliances, then dine alfresco on the oversized deck overlooking the water.

🛌 Bedroom/bathroom accommodations layout:

~ Upper level sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. A large bathroom offers a walk-in shower and separate tub.
~ Lower level sleeps 7 in two bedrooms--one with a queen, one with twin bunks + single twin--plus a sleeper sofa in the den area. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
~ Separate game room sleeps 4: twin bunks + sleeper sofa.
~ We also have a half bath on the main level of the home off the living area and kitchen.

🏈 Located under an hour from both Clemson University and UGA, it’s the perfect home base for game days, graduation weekends, or an unforgettable lakeside family reunion!

✅ Primary renter must be at least 25 years old, sign a rental agreement within 48 hours of booking, be present for the duration of the stay, and agree to a $300 damage deposit hold. No events and no smoking inside our home.

Pet friendly family home on Lake Hartwell. We enjoyed our stay and the host Dan was easy to communicate with. We stayed with our grown children, 8 year old son, children’s friends and our mini bernedoodles. There was plenty of room for all. The home was clean which is always a thing I research reviews for!! One thing to note….the home has plenty of parking. However pretty impossible to back a trailer down into if your truck is long as well as a long boat!! We have run into this problem a couple of times now.

We had the best time, the house and all accommodations were beyond our expectations! The owners provide more than any other property we have stayed at through VRBO, we basically only need to bring our self’s, food and clothing. It was perfectly located close Harbor Light Marina where we launched our boat. The dock was covered which was an added bonus as we did have a heavy rain storm and it kept us and the boat from getting drenched. EXCELLENT place to stay, we will be returning.

This house was quite cozy! There were only four of us, but it could definitely accommodate many more. The place was clean and well-stocked, and the location was fantastic—right next to waterfront restaurants and Party Island. The host was very helpful with local recommendations, and the dock was perfect. We had a great stay!

We are Dan and Michelle Garland and we love our lake/beach properties that we manage (with our good friend and co-host Megan) as Garlands Getaways. Our tightknit family of 6 (+1 furry family member) lives in NE Atlanta and includes kids that range college to post-college plus two fun-loving parents who believe life by the water makes life in general better.

Lake Hartwell is among the highest ranked lakes in the Southeast. It is large enough not to seem crowded and the waters are crystal clear, clean, and pristine. The layout of the lake makes it easy to navigate and neighbors have plenty of space and “breathing room.” It’s located close enough to get there easily but is far enough away to be a getaway that lets you relax and recharge. Whether you want to fish, boat, ski/wakeboard, or just swim and float in the water or soak up sun on the dock, Lake Hartwell offers it all. Our home complements the lake and is the ideal location to enjoy it. With accommodations for 15, a separate game room, well-equipped kitchen, and stunning decor that makes it all feel like home, all your needs are met so you can focus on relaxing.
