This brand new “barndominium” style home is a quiet and relaxing lakefront retreat with an amazing back porch viewing the lake. There are 4 bedrooms with two bonus rooms and open areas for fun times with the ping pong table (great for family competition!) and foosball table. There are kayaks to use and the property is equipped with a spacious outdoor shower. It’s time to get back to nature- there are multiple waterfalls and hiking trails close by for you to experience- you’ll love the area and want to come back!

Great house on the lake

Our church group of 40+ year old men stayed up at this house for a weekend in October. It was clean, nicely decorated, had very large common areas, especially the screened porch. The table tennis downstairs was a hit as was the large TV in the main room to watch football. The kitchen was well appointed and the number and type of grills was unsurpassed. Overall, it was perfect for our needs.

Annual Labor Day Lake Trip

We enjoyed this beautiful house so much! Our family of 15 had plenty of room. Dock was perfect to park our boat and loved the table and chairs to watch the kids do all the water activities. This place has everything for a perfect lake vacation. Did I mention screened in porch to hang out at night and drink coffee on in the mornings. Great house for large family!!

For a second time we stayed in this very comfortable home. We love screen porch and kayaks.

We enjoyed the house and lake on our second visit as much as our first visit….we rented a pontoon boat from Harbor Light Marina for a day. The kids were so excited to be in it.

Family Reunion

We had three generations together in one house. We swam, kayaked and played games. It was quiet and peaceful. Our family has done this for three years, and this is the first place we have all agreed that we'd like to return to for next year. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped.

Beautiful Lakeside Retreat

This was a great home for our annual family gathering of 15. Our grandkids are teens and young adults and the environment and amenities were perfect for them, The screened porch and dock were our favorite gathering spots! Host was promptly responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend this property. The only thing we missed was seating space for our whole group to eat together in one space.

Great Weekend

We had a family reunion, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The lake location is great, and the huge screened in porch was wonderful. Would definitely consider this property again!

Leadership Retreat

The house was perfect for 8 professionals to steps away from our day to day, relax, connect and set our goals for the remainder of the year. House was super comfortable, fantastic amenities and nice touch points throughout. Our highlights were the open layout, easy walk to lake and great fire pit. A nonsense stay which was important to us. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stress relieving property!

After a busy Christmas season it was great to unwind for a few days with family. The house was just as advertised, lots of open space, games for the young people and a nice warm fireplace. We look for properties that can accommodate our family of 12 and this was just right. With single young men bringing girlfriends and fiancées, we look for Vrbo with bunk areas and this checked off all the boxes.The kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable and a great view! One of ours took advantage of the kayaks and paddled around on a cold bright morning! Kerrie and Justin were very easy to work with. If you need a gathering place…you’ve found it!

Wonderful Home - Great Memories

We stayed over the Thanksgiving week for our family reunion. The layout was great for our family of 16. The host was very easy to work with and we all had a great time. Went fishing from the dock, lots of competition on the foosball table (when we weren't playing ping pong). Lots of memories. So thankful we found this place!

Great house!

Perfect house for Staff Retreat

This house has been the perfect meeting spot for our staff retreat! Clean, prompt, and efficient. They let us have early check in and late check out and made accommodations for us! Very fast response time for a great house at a great rate!

Wonderful Home

Wonderful, new, clean home, excellent layout upstairs, huge deck, fans to stay cool, grilling/BBQ, all see amenities and details well thought out. Needs were very comfortable-good mattresses! Great to be together but also find a quiet spot to read if you want privacy. Great downstairs layout for kids and adults. Easy walk down to the very nice dock made for cover or sun whichever you want. Excellent private swimming area in the cove without boat traffic for all day floating. The dock held our 23-ft Sea Ray boat perfectly. Our whole family agreed will we be coming back soon! Keri and Justin are sweet people who care. Peace and love! Thank you!

Good times!!

The house was very nice and loved that it had a Blackstone and a smoker/grill as we used all of them. Dock was nice with the table and chairs to were adults could hangout while kids were swimming. My only real thing was in the listing it said it was fairly close too Clemson University and we wanted to be close to there because of the boys playing baseball and it ended up being a hour away. All in all great house and we had a blast!!

They thought of everything

We enjoyed our stay. We had a large group ranging in age from six to sixty. The house was a good size and very clean. The place is pretty new, so we didn't have to worry about problems with the plumbing or a shortage of hot water or electrical outlets. Some highlights included the dock, with enough room for a large group to swim, eat or hang out at the same time. The outdoor living spaces and the outdoor shower were also very much appreciated. The screened deck was perfect for playing cards or board games and to give everyone a chance to spread out. There was a line for the outdoor shower most days. The teenagers took over the downstairs rec area playing ping pong or watching movies at night. It was nice to have a second fridge downstairs for drinks and snacks and overflow from the kitchen fridge. We were surprised how much we enjoyed the Blackstone grill/griddle. We used it for almost every meal. It is great for large groups. We made smash burgers, grilled cheese, bacon and sausage, omelets, hash browns, chicken quesadillas...There is also a small grocery store only a mile away, which made getting ice and forgotten essentials easy.

Great Lake House

This is a Great Lake House for any occasion. The house has a wonderful layout for large groups. Plenty of games and easy access to the lake make it extremely enjoyable.

Fantastic property!!

I can’t say enough nice things about this wonderful home! We slept 12 comfortably with plenty of room to visit and relax. The kitchen was perfect for not only cooking for a large crowd but also plenty of seating to eat as a group. We loved the porch, lake, dock, kayaks, fire pit and the large black stone grill!!

Perfect Destination for Extended Family Quality Time!

We celebrated our Mother's 80th birthday here just recently. The 7 children in our family ranged in age from 20 to 9 and given all of the amenities and space of this property, everyone had their own level of fun and space and pure enjoyment. We are still talking about the time we had together and the property and home had so much to do with our positive experience. It's always nerve wracking when you choose a location site unseen, but this property brought along an enormous sigh of happy relief when we entered the driveway and front door. Happy memories of sitting quietly on the porch or dock, cooking meals and a family ping-pong tournament will stay with us all forever!

We are the Cason family. Justin, Kerri, Kendall, Juliette and Matthew-Henry. We have three dogs as well that live with us at our home in Lavonia: Ariel the Irish Setter, Scout the Golden Retriever and Savanna the special needs-Golden Retriever. When you look around our home, you will see that we have named each bedroom after the children and/or our puppies. Upstairs we have the Master bedroom, the Ariel room (at the front of the house), and the Juliette room; downstairs we have the bunk room (Matthew-Henry and Scout’s room) the Kendall Room (on the back of the house facing the lake) and the Savanna room (on the front of the house). There are pictures in each bedroom that shows some adventures we have taken. Building this lake house is our biggest adventure yet! We established our family on September 6, 2003. We were married in Watkinsville, Oconee County, Georgia and have lived in Oconee, Madison and Hart Counties. We currently reside in Hart County and have since 2006. Justin and I both graduated from the University of Georgia, but respect our competitors.  Justin is a pastor (not currently serving a church) and a carpenter (he built this home-and there are business cards within this folder for you to take); Kerri is a teacher. Justin originally grew up in South Georgia (Dooly County/Vienna) and then Oconee County and Kerri originally grew up on Long Island and then Gwinnett County, Georgia. We hope you enjoy your time as you “retreat” at our home.
