As part of a 2023 custom build, this 600 sq ft single-level guest home is thoughtfully designed as an efficient Harbor Country home base for a couple or young family. The property is set well back from the road and surrounded by 20 acres of trees, with Cherry Beach on Lake Michigan less than a mile away.

The open-concept living area is built around floor-to-ceiling windows that pull the woods inside, making the space feel brighter and larger than its square footage suggests. A natural stone wood-burning fireplace runs floor to ceiling and makes it easy to settle in on cool evenings. The design is modern and clean with natural materials throughout. The main bedroom offers a queen bed while the second bedroom includes a bunk bed with additional trundle to sleep up to 3 for families with young children.

Step outside to a patio strung with lights, a charcoal grill for summer cookouts, and a firepit for the kind of evening you came to Harbor Country for. From here, walking trails wind through the surrounding twenty acres of woods — perfect for a morning hike or a quiet afternoon exploring.

Walk five minutes on foot to the paved walking and biking path along Red Arrow Highway that connects you north to Bridgman and south into New Buffalo, with coffee shops, craft breweries, and local restaurants all reachable without starting the car. Warren Dunes State Park, over twenty wineries and tasting rooms, the Journeyman Distillery, seasonal farmers markets, art galleries, boutique shopping, and live music at the Acorn Theater are all a short drive away.
