Birthday Weekend Getaway

Cute, cozy villa tucked away in a nice and quiet area. The family of alligators and turtles lounging on the back lawn every day were an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location. Near the pool, shady, quiet, and wildlife all around. Palmetto Dunes has a lot of amenities for the stay! Easy island access/location. Everything functioned well, clean, good kitchen amenities. Furnishings very nice and comfy. Recommend this unit and area!

Perfect for our type of stay

For a young family of 4 that likes to be out and explore the island all day & night, this condo suited us perfectly. No frills to it, but we didn't need anything extra than what was in place. The modernized master bathroom was well done and a nice renovation. Clean and easy to rent. We would certainly entertain staying here again.

This was a nice quiet area on HHI that we had not stayed at previously with decent accommodations.

Our property had a king bed in the master BR & twins beds in the second BR which we did not use. The rooms were well equipped although the bathroom fixtures need to be updated. This was a great stay in a quiet neighborhood at a reasonable price. There were some pool & ocean chairs, noodles, etc. in the storage room available for use.

Perfect in every way…

Our stay at Inverness 915 was terrific. The home is well located in Palmetto Dunes — close to island amenities as well as a short walk to the Inverness Village tennis court and pool. The grounds are well kempt. The house decor is clean and inviting— spacious and comfortable feel with outstanding design. Everything seemed a bit more substantial than the typical rental furniture. The lagoon with fountain added another touch of beauty. We have family in Hilton Head and have visited many times over the years. We would stay in this wonderful home again in a heartbeat. It was truly a welcome retreat. Many thanks!

The unit we stayed in was very tired. The baths were not well kept. There were defects like a broken mirror, exposed outlets, broken chairs that should be taken out.

Condo needs updating

Master bedroom bed is flat worn out and the TV is miniature. Also that TV did not work for the first three days of our stay. The white sofa in the living-room was stained and worn out. Finally the kitchen stove was dated and all burners were uneven.

Comfortable, spacious and convenient

We enjoyed the location, it was spacious for two people and convenient. The master bedroom and bath had been updated. Many light bulbs were burned out so it was dark inside on the cloudy days and the dishwasher should be replaced. It would run for 3 hours to wash and dry, but the dishes were always wet. Loved having the washer and dryer.

Would be 5 stars with wifi!

Love this unit, location and all its amenities. Only flaw was that the wireless internet was near non-existent unless you stood beside the router. Other than that, no complaints!

Our quick HH get-away

Inverness #915 is furnished quite nicely, especially the artwork. Although I didn’t do too much cooking, I found the kitchen to be well-stocked! That was a pleasant surprise for a rental! I slept in the master, and the bed was very comfortable- my daughter and grandson slept in twin beds and also were comfortable. My grandson was excited to see an alligator sunning himself on the bank. The only complaint was that the sliding glass doors had not been cleaned, and there was a lot of sand on the deck and also on the glass-top table on the deck. I had to sweep the deck, and clean the table the best I could without proper cleaning agent. Overall we had a very nice stay and would stay there again.

Property was nice, stay was less than nice!

Our property was nice and just as it looked in the listing. The check in process was a little time consuming but didn’t interfere with our weekend getaway. Everything was great until we got back to the property on Saturday. After spending all day on the beach in the heat, we can back to the air conditioning being off. I would usually complain but an 80 degree house is not conducive after being in the sun all day and with kids. We called Vacasa and sat on the phone for over an hour with no answer. While on hold, I messaged Vacasa on Facebook and was able to get a response. They had someone local call me only to be told that they don’t have after hours maintainence people (in the HUGE complex) and that they wouldn’t be out to fix it until the morning. On top of that, we were basically accused of turning the thermostat to low and that’s why it quit working... We never touched the thermostat. I nicely told the gentleman that called that their customer service was less than par and requested a refund for just that night and he said that would be more than acceptable and that someone would be in touch with me the first business day to y’all about our stay. Still haven’t heard from anyone. I did receive a refund but it was only for half a night and I only noticed it after looking at my bank account.

December Family Vacation

We have been vacationing on Hilton Head for 20 years. This is the least expensive property we have ever booked. The location was nice and the condo was spacious and clean. The decor was nice but not so high-end that I felt like I couldn't relax with small children. I can tell you we noticed some corners were cut- the couches were worn and not very comfortable, the shower heads very old and are covered in limescale, and there was some maintenance lacking (broken bathroom tiles not repaired properly, etc). And, strangest of all, they watered down the dish soap they provide. Really?? For the going price of a condo without beach access I can't get a new sample size dish soap? Overall, we found the property to be nice and a good value for the price, but next time we will probably spend a little more to get something a little nicer.
