Perfect beach home!

We loved this property! It had all we needed for our family of seven plus our dog. It was spacious inside and out on the deck
lots of room and furnishings for all and so nicely decorated. The rooms are huge and the beds were all so comfy. The close location to the pool (2 minute walk) and 12 minute walk to the beach using the path behind the property along the golf course was quick and easy! We love HHI and Palmetto Dunes and though we’ve stayed on many parts of the island, we all agreed this home was our favorite! We would definitely return in the future.

Wonderful place

Everything appeared to be updated. Fixtures, furniture, flooring, carpets, etc. The only problems we had were: 1. Patio furniture was on the ground, off the patio. Management corrected that problem immediately. 2. half bathroom toilet was on the fritz. I had to shut off the line or it would have overflowed. Luckily we had two other BR's to use. I don't blame anyone for this problem. These toilet problems do happen from time to time.

Cleanliness is a issue

This is our third trip to Hilton Head, so we have some experience with what to expect for this area. While the property shows more signs of wear than the pictures show(the scratched walls and rusty exhaust fan) that didn’t bother us to much. However one of the fans upstairs didn’t work properly. To go along with that and the squeaky beds upstairs, the shower curtain upstairs was stained and the fan controls in the room with twin beds was not easily accessible. In addition the fact that there are cobwebs from the first light fixture to the wall soon as you walk in and the vents being black with grime do bother us. The duvet in the bedroom downstairs also appeared to have blood on it left from the last guest. These issues obviously bothered us during our stay and we would not stay here again.

Needs a good cleaning and updating

This home is in desperate need of a good cleaning. The filter4s for the air-conditioning unit were filthy. The bed in the master felt so hard to sleep on and not to mention very hot because of a plastic cover that is over the mattress for a protector. There are other options out there that would make it staying there a bit more enjoyable. The townhome in general though needs the flooring finished in the guest bathroom downstairs, the place is really dirty (my daughters white socks were so filthy everyday they are beyond salvaging), they could use basic cleaning supplies stocked so when a place is not clean that people can clean. We vacuumed and dusted the place when we got there, whoever cleaned the place should possibly take the time to really clean it instead of masking it with chemicals to make it smell clean. Blinds are all in need of replacing, walls need a good painting and baseboards a deep clean, carpets were pretty gross feeling and stained on the stairs and upstairs. bathrooms all could use some updating as well. Bottom line is these units are old and this one feels old...

Christmas vacation 2022

We enjoyed staying with family in the villa at palmetto dunes. We walked everyday and found it to be in the perfect location for what we like to do !

Hilton Head Dog Friendly Condo

This condo was very nice. Had some initial issues with the Internet not working upon arrival on Saturday, but by Monday Vacasa had a Hot Spot delivered, and later the Cable company came out to fix the issue at 5:00. Seems it was wires not connected properly. After that, all was great! Loved being able to bring my dog and he loved the gated deck where he could watch the activity at the pond and the movement of the ducks and walkers. Walk to the beach was lovely and less than 1/2 mile from the unit.

Super Nice Place!!

We loved our condo! Decorated beautifully and tons of storage!!! We had an issue with the air conditioning and it was addressed shortly after we called the manager. We had a wonderful time!

Location was great

Getting to and from the beach was an easy 7 minute bike ride, maybe 12 minute walk along an easy path. Great house for our dog. I wish the pool had been a bit bigger as it was typically packed with little kids. The house itself needs a bit of updating - some cracked tile in bathrooms, shower heads, towel bars, door knobs - all could use an update. But then again it's a beach house that gets a lot of wear & tear. Really liked that there is a little beach side bar/restaurant, a general store, easy access to golf/tennis, and bike rental was very easy to arrange - this neighborhood has a lot of amenities that some others on the island don't or not in as close proximity.

Fall Golf Weekend

We loved staying in this property! It was very clean and nicely updated. Being in Palmetto Dunes was so convenient to golf and all our family activities. We will stay here again!

Beautiful Condo

We stay in rentals on HHI every couple of years and usually on the ocean or steps away. November isn’t the season for that so we didn’t mind staying about 4 miles away. Beautiful clean quiet condo close to shopping and beach. The only down fall was the twin bed mattresses were not comfortable and we basically only slept there so sleeping comfortably was very important. That’s the only reason I rated the overall a 4 star. We never contacted management.

The unit beautiful, cleaned well and in a great location. It was well-stocked with linens, laundry detergent, coffee filters, etc. We took our dog and it was great for him as well, easy to walk outside with a nice little backyard area. Highly recommend!
