From the ideal location near the corner of Jungle Rd. and Lybrand St., all that Edisto Beach has to offer is within reach. Explore your surrounding from the bike path which can be picked up at the end of your driveway. The beach is less than two blocks away, making for a leisurely walk to the sand and roar of the Atlantic Ocean. Homecooked, Lowcountry meals enjoyed in the sunroom are a tradition here just like building sandcastles and wearing flip flops. Wonderful Home in a Beautiful Place

Harmony Shores was a large and extremely well maintained home with all the amenities anyone could ask for. Lots of lovely spaces to sit an enjoy the picturesque setting.

Great Place

We truly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well equipped, it is an easy walk to the beach and there was room for everyone. A great time was had by all! Thank you!

Great home.

We had 5 adults and 5 kiddos and we all fit very well. Several porches and hang out areas to play games and chill - it rained a lot of our stay but we were fine with all the “play spaces”. Plenty of cookware to use as we just stayed in to eat. Sheets and towels were provided and that made it very helpful. Also having a washer and dryer ready to go was great. Great place for families.

The house pictures must have been taken in the 1980's.The house is old and desperately needs an overhaul. The furniture is very old and the cloth couch is dirty and stained.There is black mold on the ceilings in the kitchen and bathrooms. The A/C barely cools the house. The yard is unkept and you can not go outside because of the mosquitos. I would not stay there again.

Excellent home

We've been going to edisto for several years. This was probably the best lay out and house for our group size. The location was perfect. We actually had planned on renting it again next year. The cost more than doubled for next year during the same week. The vacasa fees went up as well. I understand an increase but it was double+ some.

Great location

We stayed here with friends - walking distance to the beach, close to some local restaurants and about an hour away from Charleston. The house came as pictured and has tons of games for families/friends to play. We used the charcoal grill and cooked many mornings in the well furnished kitchen. The only critique we would have is there are limited necessities (only 2 trash bags, 1 roll of paper towels and 1 towel per person) which would not be a problem if you are not staying for a week or more. We would come back here!

Bed bugs in the master bedroom

We stayed 2 nights. By the 2nd morning, my face, torso, arms and legs were covered in bites. I used a flashlight on my phone and noriced black specs on the bed but when i ran my fingers across the specks, blood streaked the area of each spot i touched. I contacted the company and they informed me that pest control went to the house (after we left) and that it was definitely not bed bugs. I STRONGLY disagree. Do not rent from this house or Vacasa at Edisto specc.

Communication and ease of stay were subpar.

Vacasa was difficult to communicate with. They responded by VROB, by text, and by email for different messages. Not consistent, hard to find.When asked to resend check-in directions only received impersonal AI responses to keep looking in spam rather than resending the instructions! Office was prevented from sending a personal request message by google - could have used VROB or text but did not try More concerned for the ease of vacasa/owners than customers. Not a grain of salt or coffee or a drop of oil could be found for our 3-day stay. Super unfriendly for users. Washing dishes and PUTTING THEM AWAY (instead of running the dishwasher) is abusive with a 10:00 checkout when on vacation. Only 2 dishwasher packets when we were there 3 nights.An uncomfortable experience.

Lovely home!

Harmony Shores was a wonderful setting for our family gathering! It had plenty of space for our group of 6 adults. It was clean, comfortable and nice. The kitchen was large enough for several of us to be in there at the same time, and had most everything we needed. I would rent it again if the opportunity comes up. The weather was perfect.

Best house ever rented at Edisto! Large rooms, well built house, furnished beautifully, immaculate, everything provided, close to beach access. This house is perfect, right down to three recliners! Bathrooms have safety grab bars and one has a walk-in shower. We loved this house. Thank you so much for allowing my family to experience it.

Perfect family getaway

We stayed at this lovely home with my brother and his kids. The layout was perfect for our family 4 adults, and 4 children. We all had our own private bed/bed and multiple nice common area. We especially enjoyed the front and back decks for social time and meals. This was a very kid friendly home and very clean with minimal clutter. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes/cutlery for our family meals. We also loved the short walk to the beach.

Great home for a big family

Everything about the house was great! Plenty of space for the whole family. One downside we had was the tv in the master and one of the other bedrooms was not working. Short walk to the beach was perfect.
