It's a pretty utilitarian space, but we were really impressed with the location, and the upstairs space is great for our small family. The surrounding houses are all super nice and therefore way out of our price range, but for the price paid you get a nice small 2 bedroom spot that's kid-walking-distance from the ocean, with a nice shower to clean off at and a great deck for watching the sunset. Going to save the spot for future summers.

Clean home with an ocean view. Has all of the amenities for a light meal prep, close to the main drag where you can grab a meal, coffee, shop. Home itself is on the older side and could use updating. Communication with the management is easy with quick response time. Had a slow drain in the bathroom, which they offered to fix while we were there, but we managed to get around it. Overall a good stay in Manzanita.

We enjoyed our stay! Great for small families and small dogs. Very short walk to the beach, I loved that there were beach towels to use especially because we forgot ours! There is no AC but bedroom windows and bathroom windows open. We had the patio door open for fresh air as well and loved sitting on the deck listening to the ocean, there is a small view but heads up, the railing on deck needs repair, use caution with little ones up there. The kitchen had plenty of plates, cups, utensils, some pantry staples salt, pepper, etc., the stove was tiny compared to ours at home but worked great! The bedrooms are small but we did not mind, beds were comfortable, easy to use pull out bed upstairs. My kids loved the night lights in the bunk beds. There was a pack n play but we didn’t use. We did not use the wood stove or the washer/dryer but was nice to have the option. Overall was a great stay!

Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Manzanita. We love the town and the sandy beaches. Wonderful place for a family vacation. Pros: The location was great. Walking distance to the beach and town. The deck was nice and had a partial view of the ocean. You could hear the sounds of the ocean from the deck. Cons: The house is old and needs some updating for sure. The carpet is pretty old and should probably need to be replaced with tile or wood because there was sand embedded in it. The bedrooms were small but fine. The one bathroom could also use some TLC. One of the towel racks fell off because it wasn’t installed properly. The kitchen could use some work too. Very old appliances. Just a heads up, there is no dishwasher. For a rental, I feel that is a must. The pots and pans were very old and probably should be replaced. The house was on the lower end compared to other rentals, so we didn’t have high expectations. It just would have been nice to have some modern updates.
