This centrally located home offers a fantastic home base to experience the best of Truckee and the Lake Tahoe area. Our home is a short 15-minute walk away from downtown Truckee where you can enjoy boutique shops and restaurants.



A number of outdoor activities and adventures are right on your doorstep. In winter, enjoy nearby iconic ski resorts, including Northstar and Squaw Valley. During the summer, enjoy hiking and biking, including the meandering route of The Truckee River Legacy Trail -- just an 8-minute stroll from your front door.



Head back home and watch movies on the 60-inch TV while relaxing on the leather sofa. Enjoy soaking in the primary bath Jacuzzi tub, or enjoy mornings with coffee and pancakes at the kitchen bar.



This rental is alongside two other condos. Please be respectful of your neighbors and keep noise levels down after 10pm.



INSIDE THE HOUSE



Comfortable leather furniture, a 60-inch TV, and a gas fireplace feature in an open living room with rustic furnishings and wood floors. Catch your favorite shows with cable TV, Netflix, and Blu-ray. A sliding door leads to a back patio for a breath of crisp, alpine air. There is also a gas grill available.



The fully stocked kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Group meals can be shared around an expandable dining table that can seat eight.



Enjoy the large primary bedroom with tall vaulted ceilings, a king bed, and a private balcony to enjoy the beautiful view. An opulent en-suite bath features a deep jetted tub and separate walk-in shower. The second bedroom comes with a queen bed and a private balcony, while the third bedroom is perfect for the kids with a full bed and twin trundle.



The attached two-car garage is perfect to store your outdoor gear.

THE LOCATION



Take a 15-minute stroll to downtown Truckee and explore unique independent stores, then pick out a casual eatery or stylish restaurant for dinner.



Walk 8 minutes to Truckee River Regional Park and take a hike or bike ride along The Truckee River Legacy Trail -- a scenic, tree-lined route that runs parallel to the Truckee River. In this same area, you'll find a skate park, children's playground, and a disk golf course. During the summer, enjoy many nearby mountain biking and trail running options, including the Sawtooth Trail located a 2-minute drive up the hill from your home. Both Lake Tahoe and Donner Lake are a short drive away and offer many recreational activities, such as swimming and kayaking.



A number of amazing ski resorts are also a short drive away, including Northstar (10 min), Sugar Bowl (25 min), Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley USA (20 min). There's also a range of stunning golf courses nearby.

Pros: Clean, good location, comfortable, has most necessities included. Cons: as of this review (08/02/25) there is construction behind this unit that starts promptly at 7am with hammers and saws being used throughout the day, it appears there is at least a couple months left before completion. There were also a few more minor issues that I have let the owner and rental company know about that should be addressed before the next person uses it.

Great spring break!

Our family with 2 teens had a wonderful stay in Truckee. Chose this location as we were blocks away from close friends. The house was perfect for us. Kitchen was fully stocked so we could eat most our meals home but so close to groceries and plenty of restaurants. So close to several ski spots. We enjoyed skiiing, shopping, tubing, snow mobiles, and driving around Lake Tahoe. We never once needed to contact the property manger for anything. Highly recommend!

Ski trip

Great property and very spacious for a group of 8 people. We can for a ski trip and had a great time. One downside is that some of the doors don’t have locks including the bathrooms. Also the management is VERY rigid on check in and check out times. We had a young 2 year old in the group and needed a bit more time for check out but they were extremely inflexible. So one star for customer service but other than that this property was great.

Great Place for Ski Week Blizzard

We booked this place starting with location. We were skiing Palisades but wanted to make sure we could get to friends near Old Greenwood and Northstar while also enjoying a couple of dinners downtown. This was the perfect location for all of that. Once we knew where, this condo stood out for looking modern and clean. A big bonus, especially given the storm that rolled in, was having the garage with interior access. Overall it was a great place to stay and we will definitely look to return. All of that said, make sure to read the house rules before you go. They are all well-documented and therefore fair. But

Friends with Kids Ski trip

The condo was very clean and fit our needs for the 6 of us. The location was great, near Northstar Ski resort, Lake Tahoe and downtown Truckee. I wouldn’t recommend if you are traveling with younger children. The neighbor next door came and rang our door bell asking our kids who were just playing hide and seek to be quiet. This was at 7 pm. We thought that was a little excessive, as they were not being loud, just being children. “Quiet” hours are at 10 pm.

Comfortable stay

I think that this homes shows better in person than photos. It is 3 floor home. Clean home, enough room for several people. Fully stocked kitchen, with pots, plates, cups, kitchen utensils etc. The only thing I wished it provided a little more extra blankets to be available for those unexpected nights that get colder. The beds were decent, no complaints. The bathrooms were all very nice & clean. They even provided little traveling shampoo bottles & soap for those that needed it. If we had not stayed there for work this would have a convenient home for my family to have stayed. The home has an electric fireplace in dining/living room and master bedroom. I would be happy to stay here again. Only 10 min driving downhill to downtown.

great spot

place was really nice, enjoyed it. advise a few fixes: 1. getting access into the garage initilially( the keypad is on the garage entry door, you need the code to get in the garage first). 2. most of the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. theyt had been run through the washer but food, coffee lines, etc...…. 3. the BBq while fires up doesn't get hot enough to cook. on full blast is extra low we couldn't use- needs new burners or something...

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the condo was very good, with some minor hitches. The condo worked well for five adults and one child. The only real problem was that whoever stayed there before us loaded up the neighbors trash can and the neighbor placed three bags of trash in front of the garage. It took a while for us to figure out why there was garbage in front of the garage. When we called to have it hauled, we were told to just leave it in the garage and they’d get it at the end of our stay. Well garbage stinks, so by the time we left- it was gross. They should have sent someone to pick it up. And it’s frustrating to spend vacation time on someone else’s mess. It seems like the cleaning crew should check for/ haul extra trash so that the neighbor and new guest don’t have to deal with it.

House was awesome, 10 digit code to get in was not

This townhouse was modern clean and perfect for our family of four. However, the instructions to get inside were inadequate. The garage was open, but we wasted 45 minutes trying to enter the code on the pin pads at the garage. Then once inside the garage, we really had a hard time entering -- TEN digits in a row -- quickly enough and without making mistakes to get inside. This has to change for us to want to come back. One person in our party had to use the restroom and it literally took us 50 minutes to get inside. There's a reason that most security codes are 4-6 digits. Because it's reasonable to expect someone to memorize a short train of numbers. But with the 10 digit code, someone had to read them off from the phone while the other person entered it. Problems with the phone going dark, misreading and mis-entering, I'd say it was a total nightmare. I'm being generous in giving 4 stars because this truly was a hardship.

NOT GOOD - Think twice before booking!

Horrible experience! Tried to cancel 5 days in advance due to COVID. I get that part and I’m not upset about that. Made the best of it and went on day 2 of the 4 day stay. Arrived at 3:30 and turned around and left at 7:30! Upstairs bedroom slider door latch was broken, none of the TV’s worked. After wasting an hour troubleshooting with someone from Turnkey…. a handyman was sent out to look at everything. We went to dinner and he let himself in. When we got back, we decided to leave altogether. There were NO INSTRUCTIONS on how the TV’s or remotes worked. We were afraid to turn them off for fear we could not get them back on. The AQI in Truckee was 350 (smoke) so there was nothing to do but watch TV. The only way Turnkey staff will interact is by text…. Very inefficient! WHAT A COLOSSAL WASTE OF MONEY! Will NEVER, EVER use VRBO / Turnkey ever again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this property for 6 nights. On the first night of our stay, roads into Tahoe were closed so we received a text from the management company the evening before saying we could not get into the rental on the 27th which we understood. We were able to drive into the area on the 28th but late on the 28th received another text that we could not get in until the 29th. We tried to be flexible and looked for a hotel even though we were already in Truckee and had to pay a very high rate to stay at the hotel. Late on the 29th we received another text that we couldn't get in until the 30th so we paid another high rate for a hotel in addition to the rent we were already paying for the rental. I had been texting a lot with the management company, Turnkey regarding the situation and ask for a refund for the nights we were not allowed to access the rental and they said they could only give us "future stay credit". I indicated I preferred a refund since it was them that would not allow us to access our rental and to offset the expensive hotels we had to stay in but just kept getting the same auto generated texts. I tried to call the management company Turnkey to discuss the situation in person. After talking to one staff who said they were not able to help us I asked to talk to a supervisor. After being on hold for 40 minutes I was disconnected. Texting appears to be the only way to contact the management company. Although we were given "future stay credit" using that credit will entail more expensive flights and car rentals. We we in Truckee and waiting to access the rental we booked months in advance so believe we should be entitled to a refund for the nights the Management company would not allow us to access the rental especially since we had to pay hundreds of dollars in hotel since they would not allow us to access it. Once we actually go to the property the property itself was nice.

Love This Place

We come to Truckee a couple times per year, and have developed a few downtown favorites. The cons is clean, has some partial views, a gorgeous master suite. AND we can easily walk downtown or to the Legacy Trail. Just love this place!!
