Upstairs, the cabin transforms into a hub of entertainment with its spacious game loft, perfect for guests of all ages. Free WiFi is also available throughout the property.

The fully-equipped kitchen boasts modern amenities, making it easy to prepare delicious meals for your family or friends. Well-appointed with a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and other kitchen appliances, perfect for making breakfast, lunch, or dinner throughout your stay! All pots, pans, glasses, plates, silverware, etc., are also there for you! Gather around the inviting dining table to savor your meal while enjoying the fresh mountain air.

★ENTERTAINMENT★
Start in the living room where the electric fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere, while the Roku TV gives you access to all your favorite streaming services. Then head upstairs to discover the game loft, where the energy shifts from relaxing to playful. Challenge each other to a game on the pool table, test your skills on the arcade machine, or simply hang out and enjoy the second Roku TV. It’s a great spot for friendly competition, late-night laughs, or giving everyone their own space to unwind and have fun. Outside, the entertainment continues in a way only the Smoky Mountains can offer. The upstairs porch features a bubbling hot tub, ideal for relaxing after a full day of activities. Just steps away, the outdoor seating area with a propane fire pit creates the perfect gathering place for evenings spent together, and for those who enjoy outdoor cooking, the piped-in propane grill makes mealtime part of the experience. During the warmer months, Hawks Nest offers even more to enjoy with access to a seasonal community pool, open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It’s a great way to cool off, relax in the sun, and add another layer of fun to your stay.

Bears are indigenous to the area and are often seen near or on our properties. Please do not leave food or trash outside.

Kitchen & Outdoor Cooking: The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. We provide a standard coffee maker or a Keurig, so please bring along your preferred grounds or pods.
Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. If it is on-site, please note that propane/charcoal is the guest's responsibility. There may be some left over from previous guests, or you can pick some up at a local shop.

Our cabin is located in Shagbark Resort. The Resort has a security gate that requires us to collect a few bits of information before your arrival.

Free parking for 3 vehicles total on premises.
NOTE: The driveway leading up to the cabin is a short but steep incline. Please use caution when driving up and down the driveway, especially in inclement weather or at night.
