We stayed here with my mother and father-in-law to visit with our son who is stationed at Camp Lejeune. The stay was wonderful! Great area and close to the beach.

All was great except for 2 problems: both adult bikes were broken, unusable. And the kitchen needed a large cooking pit for pasta and some serving bowls.Otherwise all good!

It was more than I expected beautiful home short distance to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and filled with deer, rabbits, turtles, and frogs. The only thing I would add is we had a seven month old so we had to do a little bit of baby proofing, which included a baby gate for the stairs that was expandable and we left it in the storage unit for future families, we also left the pack and play for any families that have small kids. I would rent this home again! Beautiful!

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. One of the best parts was the location: less than a 10-minute walk to the beach, which made it so easy to go back and forth throughout the day.The home itself was cozy and inviting, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking, the beds were very comfortable, and the outdoor space was perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening drinks.The host was also responsive, welcoming, and made sure everything was ready for our arrival. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Beautiful house near the Point

For over 50 years my extended family has gathered for a week at Emerald Isle. This was our first time staying in the house and it was perfect for our family of 6. The house was well maintained and the front porch was a great place to enjoy the breeze. The furnishings were nice and beds were comfortable. One thing to note is that the kitchen has very limited cookware and absolutely no cooking items so be sure to bring all of your seasonings including salt and pepper! It wasn’t a problem. Just a good thing to know before arriving. We will definitely stay here again in future family trips to the area!

The house was beautiful! It was a perfect location to the beach. The beach was a block in walking distance from the house. It is located in a nice neighborhood. There is plenty of room outside to park and have fun in the yard. The storage has a lot of items that are useful for the beach-chairs, wagon cart, boogie boards, sand toys, etc.That was great to have use of those. The front deck was amazing! It had a lot of room for people to enjoy. It had 2 sofas and a table and also another table with 2 chairs. We had a problem with the code to get in the front door, but the host responded quickly to help us. There were paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning materials and laundry detergent that were available to use which is very helpful I think. I have been in some places that didn't have that. The only thing I would say that the house needed more of was kitchen utensils. It didn't have liquid measuring glasses, but it did have measuring cups. There were also not many containers to hold things in or casserole dishes to bake in. I would highly recommend staying here!
