Welcome to Surf Sounds West! Find your next escape in this freshly renovated beach house with updated appliances and furniture. Catch some sun and Atlantic breezes on the deck with ocean views, or cross the street for direct beach access. Two bedrooms with 1 Queen, and 2 Full beds, 1.5 bath with open plan from Kitchen to Living Room. Enjoy your privacy, or rent with friends and open the door between units. Amenities include Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station on site (FREE), dishwasher, washer/dryer, outdoor gas grill, ceiling fans, central heat/air, 3 Flat Panel TVs, cable, and wireless internet, outdoor shower and partially covered deck.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. Just steps from a gorgeous beach. Such a perfect location. The host was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy. Highly recommend!

Worth a visit!

The property was very nice, clean, and well equipped for short or long stays. The large porch facing the ocean is perfect for taking in the sights and sounds. We also loved the short walk to the beach.

This was our second time to stay here. Quiet and convenient. Great location convenient to Emerald Isle without being in center of town. Private walkway to the beach across the street. Kitchen well equipped. Clean and well maintained. Enjoyed our stay again.

Third time staying here

This was our third time staying and it was great! We love the easy access to the beach. Being able to bring our dog makes the trip great. The unit is perfect for a family of 3 with a dog. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing stay at Emerald Isle

Surf Sounds was THE PERFECT house for our stay in Emerald Isle!! My two teenagers appreciated the 2nd bedroom having two full beds, and we all slept well on the mattresses! The house was very clean, the linens were in good shape (and smelled nice!), and the kitchen was well stocked. The house was a perfect location to get to the beach - as close to oceanfront as you can get without paying oceanfront prices! The beach access was mere steps from the house, and Emerald Isle town was a short drive away (5 min). Perfect location!Owners were VERY communicative and responsive during both booking and our stay! I would 100% book this house again. Highly recommend!

Third Time was as Good as the First

We love Surf Sounds. Our third stay and it was perfect as always. We shared the house with our kids and grandkids. A great family vacation. Always clean and well equipped. Close to the beach, on street with no traffic. The hosts were very easy to reach and responsive.

Perfect location

Surf Sounds is located across the road from the beach with great views of the ocean from the front deck. The road “dead ends” at the property so there is no car traffic in front of the home. Completely updated inside. Beautiful! We look forward to visiting again soon!

In denial we had to leave Emerald Isle!

This was a wonderful rental property. The unit is exactly as advertised, and the Moore's thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The home was super clean upon arrival. The location is fantastic with the beach access so close. We appreciated that bed linens and bath towels were included. We enjoyed riding bikes on Ocean Drive and on the path on the main road. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning to the Crystal Coast!

Fabulous location right across a dead end quiet street from the beach with a beach access/ minimal stairs right out the front door! The beach is wide and flat, great for walking. The home was very clean, had extra bath towels and beach towels, and very comfy beds. The extra half bath sink and toilet off the master was really appreciated and along with a great outdoor shower with hot water made it a full two bathrooms. The owner was very responsive and door code easy to use. Was great as a half duplex but would be great to rent both units for larger families as they connect.

We had a wonderful experience at Surf Sounds. Ken and James are great hosts and will respond quickly to any questions, concerns or issues, not that we had any issues during our stay. The location is perfect, quiet end of street. Get bikes as it’s a quick ride into town and just let the car sit. Kitchen is very well appointed, and everything was so clean and new.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. So clean, so cozy and yet so spacious for my husband and our dog. James, the owner, is so responsive and helpful. Met the cleaner, Heather, and she is fabulous and keeps the place SO clean. The entire unit was stocked, especially with kitchen essentials --- plenty of glasses, cups, plates, bowls, silverware. Everything was made easy! The location to the beach is perfect, right across the street via an easily accessible boardwalk. Fell in love with Emerald Isle and this place was the conduit for making that happen. Such a charming, quiet neighborhood it is in, too. Definitely looking forward to returning!
