Hi Katie, Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm genuinely sorry that your stay didn't unfold the way any of us would have wanted. A vacation is supposed to be a time to relax, and I understand why dealing with maintenance concerns wasn't how you wanted to spend yours. When you brought the pool, hot tub, and outdoor TV to our attention, our team immediately began working to address them. The hot tub was serviced, we personally delivered a replacement TV, and the concerns reported to us were addressed by the third day of your stay. I do want to clarify the visits to the property, because I think some important context is missing. The people who came to the home during your stay were there specifically to address the concerns you had reported to us. We weren't sending people to the property unnecessarily—we were actively trying to get each issue resolved so you could enjoy the remainder of your vacation. That said, you absolutely should have been better informed about when someone would be arriving. While our intention was to be responsive and get things taken care of for you, I can appreciate that having people arrive without clear communication about when to expect them created an entirely different frustration. We could have handled that communication better, and I sincerely apologize for that. Regarding the check-in and checkout information, those communications are intentionally sent on a scheduled timeline for every reservation. Your arrival information was sent on check-in day, and departure information was sent prior to checkout, in accordance with that schedule. I certainly understand that you may have preferred to receive those details earlier, but they were not overlooked or forgotten. As for your request for compensation, we agreed that a refund was appropriate for the portion of the stay impacted while we were working to resolve the reported issues, and a refund was issued. When we asked what you felt would be a fair resolution, you requested a full refund for the entire week. Because the concerns had been addressed during the stay and the remainder of the reservation was completed, we didn't feel refunding the entire stay was appropriate. What I hate most about reading your review is that the very efforts our team was making to correct the concerns you reported ultimately became another source of frustration for you. Our intention was genuinely to make things right, but we could have done a much better job communicating when our team members and vendors would be arriving. I'm sorry that these issues took away from what should have been a relaxing week away. While we may not agree on what constituted an appropriate refund for the stay, I certainly don't dismiss your frustration. We take our guests' experience seriously, and when something isn't right, our team will always do everything we reasonably can to address it. -Stacey & The Kozy Getaways Team
