In the Dawn condominiums voted best condominium rental complex in Galveston 2023 & 2024 in the Galveston Best of the Island awards. The Houston Chronicle calls the Best of the Island Awards the "Oscars of the Gulf Coast". Come stay at the best!
Pelican Pad, in the Dawn Condominium Complex, is a beautifully furnished 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo with relaxing seating on its second floor balcony. The master suite features a king size bed with luxury linens, soft comfortable pillows. The bath is accessible from the master bedroom, or the main part of the condo. Large soft towels are provided for your comfort.
The sunny living room features queen sleeper sofa and is well appointed to give you that "beach" charm. A large screen TV and basic cable and are available for your use. Adjacent to the living room is an exterior deck with outdoor seating.
The dining room has a table with seating for 2 and additional seating at the kitchen island. The kitchen is fully stocked; smooth top electric stove, oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, garbage disposal, dishwasher, refrigerator with large freezer and Emeril stainless steel pots and pans, silverware, glassware and dish place-settings. Tupperware, bowls, measuring cups, strainers and other cooking utensils provided.

DON'T BE FOOLED! Other condos on the Seawall only offer a fridge and a microwave, maybe a hot plate. This unit has a FULL kitchen. Oven, Stove and ALL the cookware to cook your own meals.
Full sized washing machine and dryer are located inside the unit.
Our balcony closet, sand toys and bamboo beach mats to make your short trip the beach effortless.
The Dawn is secure facility with all doors and gates opened with codes. A wrought iron fence surrounds the property to ensure your privacy and security. Ample (fee-based) parking is available on the property as first come first serve. TRAILERS are NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances. Beautifully landscaped grounds with 2 available pools year-round, a hot tub, community center, charcoal grills and exercise lounge. And to top it all off, Babe's Beach is right across the street, with access from the stop light at the corner of the property.
All guests must check in with the Condo HOA upon arrival. Vehicle/amenity passes are $40-$50 per vehicle per stay (depending on length of stay) and include pool wrist bands for up to 5 guests.
This condo is on the second floor. Guests must be able to navigate one flight of stairs.
We also have other condos in the complex if you have other family traveling with you.
ANIMALS ARE NOT ALLOWED per the HOA rules.
Check in any time after 4PM, check out no later than 10AM.
POLICIES

âą No events, parties or large gatherings including prom, bachelor/bachelorette, graduation, TEEN or chaperoned groups â if this is your intent, please look elsewhere
âą No smoking inside or on decks/balconies. Please dispose of cigarette butts appropriately
âą Animals not allowed per HOA rules. (Stays of 30+ days are excluded)
âą Requires one flight of stairs and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility
