Lovely mountain-view home with private pool & spa - dog-friendly

Featuring 1,225 square feet of living space, this home is a modernized 1950s classic located in a quiet neighborhood, yet with easy access to all the amenities Palm Springs has to offer. It's the perfect retreat for a vacation with friends and family! Situated in the highly desirable Racquet Club estates, this home was originally designed by world-famous architect Willam Krisel and includes polished concrete floors, an exposed tongue-and-groove ceiling, and stunning mountain views from floor-to-ceiling clerestory windows. Spread out on the attractive sofas to stream your favorite movies on the living room's mounted TV, then head outside to get in a refreshing swim in the private pool (pool heat offered for an additional charge upon request) and above-ground eight-person hot tub.

The full kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and a center prep island/breakfast bar with barstools. Serve your dinner guests at the glass-top dining table or take your plates out to the spacious patio to savor an al-fresco dining experience amid the breathtaking mountain views. Afterward, let the kids play in the enclosed yard then spread out a few of the provided beach towels to enjoy an evening of quiet stargazing. Head inside for a rejuvenating sleep in one of the three luxurious bedrooms. The private washer and dryer will ensure everyone's clothes look their best and the central AC and ceiling fans will keep the home nice and cool during your stay. This home was the product of a successful mid-century movement intended to move Palm Springs beyond the highly affluent to become the vacation destination it's known as today. Some more recent updates include a new lanai, patio, and astroturf!

The pool was great, but it was way too cold and I refused to pay an additional 75.00 per day to have the pool heated. The cost of the heated pool should be included in the daily rental cost.

Beautiful Home!

Loved staying at this house! It was clean, spacious enough for my family of four, and loved the backyard area. Coming to Palm Springs, I knew I wanted a MCM vibe, and this house and the neighborhood that was in it fit the bill. We didn't really cook much at the house, but the kitchen seemed fairly stocked with supplies. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and relaxing place

Located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood of similar mid-century homes, it was also just minutes away from downtown restaurants and bars. A real easy place to stay and an exceptionally well equipped kitchen for a rental.

Wonderful spring break stay for our family.

Wonderful house in a great location. Gorgeous neighborhood. The backyard pool area is especially beautiful. Our family of four had plenty of room to relax. Short Uber ride to downtown for shopping and amazing restaurants. We would absolutely come back to this house.

Tidy House with Fabulous Pool

This was just a short weekend visit, but the house was fantastic. The kitchen is very open and easy to cook and mingle with people at the same time. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. My kids and dogs enjoyed the spacious yard and I enjoyed the location. Very quiet neighborhood but close to all the amenities of downtown Palm Springs. Highly recommend! We will be back!

Great stay!

Booked this home for our anniversary. Perfect indoor/ outdoor vibe with three big doors that give you that open feel to the home. Yard was perfect, lots of privacy and escape proof for our little dog. Pool is not heated, however I think it will be a delightful temperature in a couple more weeks of the PS heat. Home is near to all amenities- we will be back!!!

Beautiful home, pleasant stay

Our family had a lovely stay at this home. We loved the big backyard and mid-century style. Our only note would be we wished the pool could be heated. It was tough for the kids to swim for long periods of time due to the water temp being a bit on the chilly side. Otherwise, the house was pretty much perfect all around. Thanks so much!

Great Stay during very hot weather!

We loved our stay! The house was the perfect size for our family of four (kids 9 & 13), and the mid century vibe made it feel like a true Palm Springs getaway. We were there during a heat wave (over 100° every day), but the A/C kept the house cool and comfortable, and the pool was absolutely perfect, our kids spent hours in it. The backyard was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, and we really enjoyed just hanging out there as a family. The only minor issue was with the pool maintenance schedule. We were told service would happen before noon on Monday, so we waited until after 12 to get in the pool. Around 1pm, the pool worker entered the backyard unexpectedly while we were swimming, which caught us off guard, it was a little awkward . We had to get out for 15 minutes while the worker did the maintenance. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again. Great house, great location, and an ideal setup for a relaxing family trip.

Very dirt property. We left within one hour of checking in. Ac did not work There was trash in the house and pool There was smell of mold in the house Management was not available for any help Have pictures of everything

Just what the doctor ordered

I loved this home and all of its amenities. From it's classic midcentury architecture, landscape, and interior design; this meticulously maintained home was a true escape. I came to LA from Chicago to take care of my brother following open-heart surgery. I surprised him with a getaway to Palm Springs for some R & R. We enjoyed sunning by the pool and lounging in the neatly manicured yard. The interior of the home was clean, neat, and nicely appointed. My brother was able to relax and recover poolside and I got to experience that with him. I would stay here again, definitely.

This home was absolutely filthy. The entire house smelled of urine and there were stains on the rugs. The pillows had blood stains and none of the bedding had been washed. Do not stay here.

Lovely home - just make sure you don't care about the pool for swimming.

I appreciate the opportunity to review this home. The stay there was lovely. Not all was quite as expected though. One of the main features was the pool for our trip. It would have been better had we known that the pool was NOT heated. Polar Bear plunges are not for us, so that was a huge disappointment. And, a 10:00 check out is a bit tight when on vacation. If it could be moved to 11:00, your future guests may appreciate it. The work to upgrade the property is very well done, well thought out. Thanks for the stay

Property isn’t managed.

Well, there were two unexpected guests who were roaming the property. The first group of men entered the backyard without announcing themselves. Scared my 14 year old daughter so bad she hid in the hammock. The men proceeded to bang on our door for 20 minutes. It turns out that the owner got confused and told the plumbers the wrong address. Very scary. I spent a few hours trying to get a hold of anybody from Vacasa that could help me with assurance that nobody else would be entering the property. I was blown off. I spoke to corporate, the local manager, office staff
 anyone at all. Some were sympathetic, some didn’t care at all. Also, one of the patio doors wasn’t working, so anyone could get into the backyard AND the house at anytime. I’m trying not to let this ruin our vacation, but then a second person enters the backyard. Unannounced. If you want to be given the runaround, spend all day on the phone with people who won’t help you, and risk your safety
 this is a great property to do so at. It’s such a shame because the house is wonderful. It’s just not managed correctly. Alexis is the property manager. She didn’t do her job. It’s quite sad for the owners. I was on the phone for 6 hours trying to get some answers. Is that a vacation ?! Stay away from Vacasa. Even the maintenance guy who fixed the door told me that this company has major problems. He also told me to file a complaint. Even the employees know that Alexis doesn’t do her job. What a waste.
