The futon offers additional sleeping space, making it perfect for families or small groups. For a touch of nostalgia, enjoy the classic sit-down arcade game—great for kids and adults alike. Kitchen/Dining Room:
The open-concept kitchen and dining area at A Windy Ridge is perfect for gathering, cooking, and spending quality time together. Fully equipped with everything you need, the kitchen features an electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, dual Keurig coffeemaker, crock pot, and air fryer—making it easy to prepare anything from quick breakfasts to family dinners. The adjacent dining area offers comfortable seating for up to six, creating a welcoming space to share meals, plan your day, or unwind after your Smoky Mountain adventures.
To make your arrival even easier, we provide dish towels, starter dish soap, and starter dishwasher pods to get you settled in comfortably.

A charming yard swing adds a peaceful touch—ideal for gently swaying while soaking in the quiet surroundings.
A softly lit walking path enhances the evening ambiance, while the covered deck with classic rocking chairs remains a favorite place to unwind and take in the beautiful mountain views.
After a day of exploring, slip into the hot tub and let the soothing sounds of nature melt your stress away. When hunger calls, fire up the gas or charcoal grill for a laid-back BBQ in the crisp mountain air. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit in Adirondack chairs or relax on the nearby swing—perfect for laughter, connection, and unforgettable memories.

Enjoy a stress-free arrival at this welcoming mountain cabin, easily accessible by a smooth asphalt road with a fully paved driveway. The spacious, level parking area comfortably accommodates up to three vehicles and is motorcycle-friendly—making it convenient for every type of traveler.
Perfectly located in Wears Valley, you'll enjoy the ideal balance of peaceful surroundings and quick access to the Smokies' top destinations. The Metcalf Bottoms entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just 2 miles away—perfect for hiking, picnicking, tubing, and scenic drives. You're also only minutes from Townsend, known as the “Peaceful Side of the Smokies,” as well as Pigeon Forge for dining, shopping, and attractions, and The Island for entertainment and family fun. Gatlinburg is an easy, scenic drive, offering even more to explore along the way.
For added convenience, a Dollar General is just 2.5 miles from the cabin, and larger grocery stores like Kroger and Publix are approximately 7 miles away—making it easy to stock up on everything you need for your stay. You'll also find a local favorite spot for breakfast and lunch just down the road.

Upon your departure, if we find evidence that the cabin has fleas or there is damage or additional deep cleaning required due to your pet, you will be charged for all repairs and/or additional cleaning needed.
Please bring your own sheets/blankets to cover the areas your pet lays or sleeps on - or an additional fee will be charged for extra cleaning and time needed due to dog hair and odor left behind.

Start with adventure when you ride coasters at Dollywood, win a game of putt-putt golf, race go-karts, splash at waterparks, mine for gems, visit museums, and oh-so-much more! For outdoor fun, you can explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike to waterfalls, horseback ride through valleys, picnic by a river, and fly fish! Once the thrills and adventure are over, visit the Tanger Outlets and local boutiques, where you can shop until you drop. Enjoy local cuisine, from southern family-style restaurants to chef-cooked meals at dinner time. After dinner, you can find a sweet shop on every corner to satisfy that sweet tooth before returning to the property.

Special Dates:
Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day.
Check-In:
4pm - There is NO check-in office; you go straight to the cabin. Once all your payments have been made, we will send you an email with the door code & we will resend it a week before your stay.
