Crystal Sands East & West is an intimate, quiet property located directly on the beach and offering breathtaking views of the Gulf from private balconies. This condo faces the award-winning soft, sugar-white sandy beaches for which the Emerald Coast is known. Great location

Condo was great. It was easy check-in and clean property. It is right on the beach so great for morning walks. Close to everything.

Thank you Mike for your review of your unit at the Crystal Sands, located right on the beach in Destin, you have a long expanse of beaches to walk. And being on the ground floor, you can walk right out to the sand! We hope you can return soon and would consider Crystal Sands and ResortQuest again.

Waking up to a view of the gulf, with sunrise and sunset is amazing. Even through storms, it's beautiful. Very comfortable.

Excellent getaway

This was our first ocean front condo. It did not disappoint us. Property managers checked in on us and took care of a couple minor little things right away. Great place would stay again.

Winter Trip to the Beach

Scenery and food outstanding. Weather a little cool. Lots of snowbirds but they were friendly. Great trip. Will be back at the beach again next winter.

Perfect Beachfront Getaway

No complaints. Right on the beach, 1st floor. Everything needed was in the unit. And it was very clean. If I have 1 complaint it would be to clean the bathtub drain, the water pooled in the tub when showering. But would definitely go back and recommend!

Amazing View !!

My wife and I had a wonderful vacation. We absolutely loved the Amazing View !! The location was good, close to restaurants, shopping, etc... only thing that would've made it even better is if we didn't have to leave. Only complaint was there were a couple stains on the bed sheets but we didn't even notice until we were packing to leave because we slept in the living room on the sectional so we could hear the ocean every night. We loved our trip and will be staying at Crystal Sands again.

Overall, excellent place to stay. Recommend simplyfing TV and systems in living room.......unable to operate. Too complicated and time consuming to troubleshoot.

We bought groceries on the way to condo and when we arrived the fridge was not cold and our groceries went bad. We reached out multiple times but it was never addressed. The bathroom also has mold growing.

1.5 bath not two

This is a very clean first floor with a gorgeous view place to stay! There are not two full baths, it is more of a jack and jill style set up with only one bath and two toilets & sinks. The ice maker leaks, blinds in living missing some slats, curtains needed in bedroom…but the view is The BEST!!!

Good vacation

Love being able to walk out door to the beach. Even though it rained most of our stay, we were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the the surf. Only a couple of improvements need to be made to this unit: Master bed squeaks loudly with any movement, ,master toilet is loose and needs to be resealed. the only other thing we don't like about Crystal Sands is that the ceiling allows every footstep above to be heard. Our neighbors above were walking back and moving furniture from dinner time until 10PM every night.

Tub area sits between the two bathrooms, has jets, jets were NOT clean, had slimy black build up in them. Cloth shower curtain had mold on it. One panel of the blinds was missing, which was an issue since this unit is on the ground floor. Overall cleanliness of the rest of the unit was fine. Vacasa fixed the jet & blind issue, i had to purchase a cheap shower curtain the first night so I could shower that night.

Beautiful Location-housecleaning issues

We have stayed at Crystal Sands for years. You cannot beat the location. We have never had an issue before but this time was different. While vacasa did get back to us after 24 hours, they gave us the wrong wifi network and password which sounds petty but we couldn’t use our phones unless we left the room. There was also a mildew smell coming from the bathroom and we finally figured out it was the comforter and blankets And I didn’t want to spend the time all day rewashing all the linens in the small washer and dryer. We let them know about the mildew the first day and they never responded. These things are easily avoidable especially when you pay for it to be done. We will visit Crystal Sands again but not this rental.
