Rooftop hottub!

We loved the unit and the view and the rooftop hottub. We did not like having no tv and spotty internet.

Very enjoyable stay just wish the hot tub had been operational.

The hot tub had nasty black water in it on the roof As we were hoping it was operational. The jet tub in the masterbath was a plus. The boards on the top bunk in the other room need to be replaced they were not real sturdy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

Hi, Melissa. Thank you for your feedback! We are so sorry for the issues you encountered during your stay. A lightning strike damaged the control panel on the hot tub and the homeowner is working with the spa company to get it replaced. The repair continues to be delayed due to a lack of available parts required. The house manager will be fixing the boards on the bunk bed as well. We hope to have another chance to host you soon!

Hot tub was green for the first 2-3 days, which was a major disappointment for me as I passed up cheaper rooms bc of this. Also, the bathroom jacuzzi tub didn’t work which was another disappointment. The bedroom gets A LOT of noise from the road so either the doors aren’t sealed properly or something is going on but it’s fairly loud in the morning. On top of that was woken up 3 mornings from construction going on the condo next door and it reverberated throughout the bedroom. I mean it was LOUD. Maybe it wasn’t management’s fault but still. They could possibly own that room as well so who knows. The bunk bed mattresses are the same quality as dorm room mattresses from the 90’s, in fact I’m suspicious they are in fact bought as old discarded dorm mattresses. If you plan on cooking meals I would bring your own pots and pans bc they only had old non stick pots that probably needed to be replaced. They did provide a couple laundry and dishwasher pods. Bed sheets had some weird stains on them. Overall the condo is nice but there were some pretty big flaws. The resort itself has great facilities. The pools, hot tubs, and lazy river are great. I would just maybe stay in a different room.

We truly appreciate your feedback, Adam. It sounds like your stay had some ups and downs, and we’re sorry to hear about the issues you encountered. The hot tub and jacuzzi tub not meeting your expectations is certainly disappointing, especially when you chose our property for those amenities. We understand how important a peaceful environment is, and we regret that noise from the road and nearby construction affected your comfort. Your comments about the bunk bed mattresses and kitchen supplies are valuable, and we will take them into consideration as we strive to enhance our guests' experiences. Cleanliness is a top priority for us, and we will address the concerns you raised about the bed sheets. On a brighter note, we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the resort facilities, including the pools and lazy river. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and we hope you find a stay that meets all your expectations in the future.

Mom Daughter Annual Vacation

This place was more than expected. All furniture was very nice and clean. The view was great. I was surprised to have our own rooftop patio and private hot tub. The pools are all nice and the white sand was soft and perfect. I seen in an earlier review that the patio doors were wonky. They were fixed while I was there. So that is fixed. We will definitely be back. Love from Tennessee

The refrigerator needs replaced. Rust on the door and didn’t get real cold. The ice maker works but won’t spit ice out. Little things like touch up paint. The bedroom TV didn’t work. Tubs was dirty. Bed was comfy. Nice views. The dresser in main bedroom was broken.

Fun times

Love everything Destin West has to offer ! They could not find our beach service the first day but that was fixed by second day and we were told they would refund us for the first day that we paid for. The condo was nice except for the sliding door was very hard to open and close . We will be back !

Nice overall but a few small annoying details

The location is wonderful and overall everything was nice. Just a few small annoyances, like the toaster didn't work, the broiler in the over didn't work, the master bedroom curtain was held together by duct tape, and the hot tub was disgusting looking. Since it was 100 degrees we didn't plan to use the hot tub, but it should probably be closed with a message to not use. Everything else was great!

Best of Both Worlds - Stunning!

While the condo number was given and listed as a "penthouse" but it was difficult to locate. More direction needed on which floor of garage is best (and nearest which elevator) for easiest access to this property. That being said, once inside, the place was perfect, and just as described. Very clean and decor is gorgeous and sophisticated beachy. The best part? The views! Whether you're on the expansive balcony or lounging on private rooftop terrace you can unobstructed views of both the bay and the Gulf. Also close to everything without being right in the middle of tourist overload. Perfect for singles couples, or families. All in all, best condo I have stayed in for a long while, and best value. I will be back!

Our stay

The condo advertised a personal hot tub in pictures and comments. Wasn’t able to use it and wasn’t aware until we arrived. Washed laundry and dryer wouldn’t dry clothes. Then went to make breakfast and no pans for the oven. It was disappointing when you think your able to use all that “is” provided. However it was very clean and quiet. Just needs some extra attention for the small things to make the stay easier.

Horrible experience

I will not rent this property again or recommend renting this property to others. The hot tub wasn’t working properly and when turned on it caused power loss in the condo unit. We were out of power and in the dark for at least 3 hours even after calling the managing company several times. We were told that they were trying to find their local agent to resolve the problem but was having difficulty doing so. It was very inconvenient and it ruined our night.

Great room, but hot tub did not work

The condo was very nice on the inside and had all of the amenities. However, the only reason we booked this more expensive pent house condo was for its unique access to a private hot tub. Well, the hot tub was not working. It had no power to it and the water was 1/4 full and dirty which didn’t matter since we had no way of turning it on. This was our 10th anniversary getaway trip and we planned on using that hot tub especially since it was a little cooler out. We would have gotten a cheaper condo if we knew the hot tub wouldn’t work. We complained to Vacasa and they got with the “manager” and texted us that they would reimburse us $82 from our over $800 two night stay. This is not acceptable. Other than that, we enjoyed the room and also the easy access to the beach, pools and lazy River across the street. The lazy River was very nice and relaxing.
