Makani Sands condo # 203 est une chambre à coucher au 2ème étage. Ce condo est joliment décoré dans le style hawaïen avec tout le confort de la maison. Il y a une cuisine complète et tous les appareils nécessaires, cuisinière conventionnelle et un micro-ondes. Il y a une salle de bains magnifiquement rénovée avec une douche de plain-pied. La chambre a un lit king et une télévision pour votre plaisir. Il y a un lanai extérieur avec une table et des chaises, donc vous pouvez vous asseoir dehors et regarder le coucher de soleil sur nos îles voisines, Molokai & Lanai. Wonderfully relaxing spot

This property has a spectacular view, was quiet and relaxing, and well-priced overall. We loved staying here! Loved having access to the snorkels and beach equipment. Great spot overall though we used the beach a few buildings to the left because the water is quite high directly in front of the property.

Very Pleasant Unit

Maui weather was a bit more rainy the first week than we've experience before but only 1 day was bad enough to have an impact. Very relaxing time and great view from the lanai.

Reviewer Comments: The perfect get-away: drinking morning coffee from the lanai with views of tropical blue waters, sea turtles bobbing in the gentle surf, clouds drifting by in a sky of blue. Clean condo with furnishings that add to the tropical atmosphere of simply being in Hawaii. Makani Sands employees were kind, helpful and welcoming. I will definitely book this unit or a similar one when i return to Maui. Booking direct was a breeze.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our stay. My son and I were in the water directly behind the unit as much as we could. It was amazing having turtles swim by while we were playing in the water. The unit has beautiful views and is in a great location. We cooked out on the grills and enjoyed the island air. The only drawback on the unit we stayed in was no air conditioning for sleeping, but the weather was nice and it wasn't much of an issue. I noticed some of the other units have AC, so might upgrade to one of those next time. Loved staying there and already longing to go back.

Wait until construction is done

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the unit we stayed in. Clean, comfortable,had everything we needed and more. Amazing views as always. Our only problem was not the construction itself, but the construction equipment is taking up at least half or more of the parking. To make things worse the on site guy is a total ******* about parking and will wake you up an any hour to rudely say you have to park somewhere else. I was ready to knock the guy out the way we were treated. Unknown to us, they have 8 TOTAL spots available for 30 units because several are reserved for tenants whether they are there or not. I was ready to drive my car into the pool just to make a point. Other than the jerk on property the unit was exactly what we needed.

Beachfront Condo near Lahaina

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a pleasant beachfront condo in the Lahaina area near many attractions and restaurants. The condo was found to be very clean and included amenities necessary for a short stay. We arrived during high surf and the beach was practically unusable. The waves were very high and splashing above the deck area. Very pretty but if you want a beachy area I would look further. Another problem there is no AC and it was very warm when we stayed end of March. No breeze, no crosswinds to cool off condo. The bedroom is located in the front of the condo and mornings can be very noisy with traffic outside. If you are one that sleeps in past 7AM, again, I would suggest you search further.Unfortunately, we had a family emergency and had to leave the 2nd day of a 5 day stay. We informed the office Wenesday AM, 3/29/17, and were completely taken aback by the women in the office, She quickly advised us there would be no refund; they never give refunds. Absolutely no compassion for our situation!She was downright rude! We didn't really expect a refund but thought they would suggest trying to re-rent the condo and afford us some type of credit. Surprisingly, the Airline and Car Rental Agency were more sympathetic and gave us credit for days unused. We were totally disappointed in the way she handled the situation. Bert, the property manager, did show compassion and was sympathetic to our situation. Maybe the woman in the office could take a lesson from him. All in all, the property is nice and quite inexpensive for Hawaii. But do not look for luxury that you would find in a higher end condo or hotel.

It was dreadful trying to sleep. I can't understand why an owner would not put in black out drapes.

Unprofessional listing

I’m okay with my stay. The place needs a little update and they have to find a solution for no A/C. The real problem is the listing never said there would be construction during our stay, no less obstructing our ocean view which we paid for and starting the backhoe at 7AM. Come on people what kind of unprofessional and inconsiderate people are managing this listing?

Amazing Stay!

The property was perfectly located with shops, restaurauts, gas station, etc.. all very close. The beach directly behind the apartments was great! Everything was stocked and clean! Amazing view of the ocean. Highly recommend!

Humpback Whale Migration-checked off Bucket list!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 4th time staying at Makani Sands. First time renting a one bedroom because the kids all stay home. I’ll just say it upfront...the bedroom is in the back (on the street side) and very noisy. Also, access to the water is difficult, but we knew that from previous stays. OTHERWISE, the stay was great as always!! The office staff was very welcoming. Our condo (203) was clean and inviting. There were ample supplies in the kitchen for cooking and plenty of beach chairs, etc. While at the Condo, we spent most of the time sitting on the Lanai or in the lounge chairs below watching whales and turtles. Not a day passed where we didn’t see several whales breaching out in front of the complex. BuT...the most memorable moment was during our whale watching trip and a huge Humpback breached no less than 25 feet from our boat! WOW.... All-in-all, we had a fabulous time and are already planning our next trip! Thank you Makani Sands!

Wonderful but seawall issues

Wonderful stay, small quiet property very clean unit. HEATED POOL! However, we love to spend time in the ocean each day but the 8' tall seawall stairs are destroyed and closed(we were told being repaired in August). The adjoining properties are fenced so this means NO ACCESS to water. We had to drive each time we wanted a swim. This should have been stated in property description. Had we known we would have chosen elsewere (but maybe thats the point!) Once it is fixed we would definately consider returning.

Makani Sands #203 - Feb 2022

We had a great stay at Makani Sands #203. Everything was setup and clean when we arrived. The condo was very well equipped. There were 2 large very nice beach towels set out for us to use. There was also beach chairs, an umbrella, a small rolling cooler, and a snorkel set. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom towels were some of the softest towels we have felt. There was a large new LED TV in the living room though we only turned it on once. The main attraction was the constant view of whales from the balcony. We spend every morning sitting on the balcony watching the whales and an occasional turtle swim by. This is not a complaint but a warning that the bedroom faces east and the blinds do not block any light. Not a problem if you are still on main land time and wake up before sunrise. :-) Though it would be nice to block the light with some shades. Everything was great with the condo and looking forward to when we can come back. Thank you!
