Un des meilleurs de la folie! North Bend By the Sea doit son nom à la ville natale des propriétaires qui aiment avoir leurs enfants et leurs petits-enfants à la plage. Ils vous invitent à partager leur chez-soi. Cette grande maison de 5 chambres, 3. 5 salles de bain a beaucoup d'espace confortable pour s'étirer et se détendre. C'est l'endroit idéal pour créer de merveilleux souvenirs de famille!

Lorsque vous entrez dans la maison, vous voyez des appareils en acier inoxydable et une grande table de cuisine. Dans le salon, une chambre avec deux lits simples est reliée par une salle de bains Jack et Jill à une deuxième chambre en bas avec un lit queen et une vue sur l’océan. La très grande salle familiale ouverte dispose d'une télévision à écran plat avec lecteur DVD, d'une cheminée à gaz et de nombreux sièges confortables et d'une vue magnifique sur l'océan. Il y a une demi-salle de bain dans la salle familiale et deux portes qui mènent à l'extérieur de la maison sur le pont arri��re. L'une des portes mène au grand porche et l'autre à l'énorme terrasse ensoleillée, toutes deux situées face à l'océan. A l'étage, vous trouverez un lit de repos et 3 autres chambres et 2 salles de bain complètes. Il y a aussi un joli balcon ouvert qui est idéal pour s'asseoir et regarder le monde passer. Avec 1 douche extérieure, un hamac et de nombreuses terrasses donnant toutes sur l'océan, c'est l'endroit idéal pour une grande réunion de famille!

Wonderful!

If I had any complaints it would be about the weather (chilly!), otherwise our week at this home was perfect. There were plenty of towels, dishes, cook wear, seating areas, and we LOVED the huge front porch, especially for our pup! Three bedrooms with beach view was a huge perk. Washer and dryer worked great. We will totally stay here again if the occasion arises.

Wonderful home right on the beach. Lots of bathrooms and bedrooms. Great kitchen. Comfy living area. Lots of windows to see the ocean. Great deck. Steps from tne beach.

On the beach oasis

On the quiet end of Folly Beach, very chill and laid back. The deck stairs are on the beach that we had to ourselves.

Peaceful was just what we needed

Awesome location. Woke up to the view of the ocean every morning..coffee on the deck..gorgeous sunrises and right on the beach. Very pleasant and quiet part of the community.

Great location, could use upgrades

The house had plenty of space, was clean and very nice location on beach. It would help if the driveway was paved so we were not constantly sweeping up sand. The house needs better lighting, very dark.

Lovely Home Away From Home

Even though the weather was less than desirable for a beach vacation, we had a great stay at North Bend by the Sea. The property was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 6 adults and 3 pups, being inside more than we’d wished. We would certainly be interested in a return trip!

Much needed getaway

This is our first time booking the property. I have five children ages 19,18,14,10 and 7. We also had my parents meet us for vacation. We brought along our two dogs that are more like family. I can not begin to tell anyone looking at this property how amazing it is for any and everyone. I have absolutely NO complaints. Every single detail was ahhhhhmazing!! This property is a gem!! Don’t sleep on it, it is worth every penny!

Mixed feelings

The property was clean and well maintained. It would have been nice to have a more detailed description of the layout, or plan, of the house; one description listed 4 bedrooms, instead of 5, as well as a "daybed" on the 2nd floor. Access to the beach was very problematic, with the large boulders and debris that we had to climb over to get down to the sand. We had two people fall over the rocks during our stay, fortunately without serious injury. Internet connection was intermittent and didn't work much at all in the evenings. The rental charges plus "additional" fees and taxes were too high, and would have ordinarily been prohibitive for us at another time.

Great house & location, poor management company

We had a great stay at the house, it was bigger than pictured, clean, the location was amazing. It was missing beach chairs, you would think a house on the ocean would provide those, but besides that our stay was wonderful. We did have a very poor experience with the rental management company upon check in. The house was completely vacant before our arrival, no one checked out that day, the cleaning was done... and yet they said we could not check in early unless we paid a $114 fee, and if we paid the fee we can check in 2 hours early. We have several properties ourselves on VRBO for 10+ years and are frequent travelers... and NEVER have I heard of an early check in fee, let alone one as steep as $114. Especially since the house was just sitting there unoccupied & clean. We have always allowed guests to check in early as a kind thing to do... not to try & gouge them for more money. Even hotels allow early check in if the room is ready. We had hundreds of dollars of catering food leftover from our sons wedding the night before and they wouldn't even allow us to throw it in the fridge so it didn't spoil. So much for southern hospitality! I would recommend they find a new rental management company that cares about their guests and isn't trying to make a extra buck any way possible.

Wonderful!

We spent five days together in this wonderful beachfront home and had an amazing stay. The trip was for my mothers 94th Birthday. The group included her children and grandchildren. The layout worked well for our group and the outside porches were wonderful. The weather was perfect, sunny and in the high 70’s everyday and we felt like we had a private beach.

Great House on the Front Beach

This house was great choice for a gathering of our extended family. It was a beautiful site on the front beach and had wonderful outdoor areas with porches and decks. But the coffee maker is not working properly and needs some attention or replacement. Thanks so much!

We had a great time here. House was an older home but in great shape. There was a lot of characteristic to this house. We’d definitely stay again! Everyone enjoyed, even the pups.

Great Time in Folly Beach

Wonderful stay in Folley Beach while in town for the Cooper River Bridge Run. Place was very clean and well kept. Plenty of space... even with 6 kids! Host was awesome and very responsive. My favorite part... you cannot beat the view from the back deck. Perfect spot to watch the sunrise or sunset over the beach with a coffee. Looking forward to returning back to this property soon!

Ocean nirvana

Although the bungalow itself is on the older side, owners have done an excellent job of maintaining the property. The upper and lower decks were amazing and being able to hear the ocean at night with the windows open (with heat or AC off) was amazing. This is a spectacular rental and well worth it. Make sure you take note of the wall upstairs with the beautiful German barometers!! As a caveat- The screens to the doors to the front porch and the screened porch need some attention (stripping and screen material are loose) so be careful. Also the guest commode (off the round table area) has a cover that needs to be replaced or reattached. Neither of these minor issues were of major concern while we were there and are only mentioned here as a heads up. We loved our stay here as did our pups and look forward to returning.

Christmas 2021

We booked last minute so didn’t have much to choose from. The house had plenty of room for the 7 of us. It was comfortable. The beach access was GREAT!!! Nice deck and screened in porch (rusted hinge needs replacing) Linens were nice and there were supplies for the first couple days provided: dishwasher pods, dish wash liquid, sponge, kitchen towels, and paper towels, small hand soaps for bathrooms, toilet paper, wash machine pods, extra trash bags, etc. Very nice to have all these special things provided at least fir the first couple days. There were board games provided and you could watch Hulu, Netflix, etc., if you had an account. We watched the new Matrix film!!!!!! Televisions in all the rooms. The cleaning company should clean the oven, we only made pizza one evening but it really needs to be cleaned. I noted it on our forms when we left. There were also old coffee grounds left in the coffee machine…no big deal…we cleaned them out, but the cleaning company should have checked. We also couldn’t get the dishwasher to clean our dishes, we ran the program 3 times but ended up doing them by hand. I’m sure they would have responded but we didn’t want to bother anyone….it was Christmas. We did note it on the forms when we left. We had a good time and we would go back.

Amazing location and great house

Very well situated on Folly beach. I liked the layout of the deck and the screen in portion. The house was roomy and clean. I liked the fact that soap and paper products were provided is an easy to find Fashion. October was a great time to visit as it was quiet and the beach was lovely. I wish we could have stayed longer and would recommend this property to friends.

Perfect beach house for Family

We really enjoyed our visit to Folly Beach. This home is spacious and perfect for a relaxing stay. It's not pretentious or fussy, and is perfectly comfortable and welcoming. We especially loved the location near the end of the beach and away from the crowds, SO NICE! would gladly stay again

North Bend by the Sea has it all - but most notably (and well used) is the big deck overlooking the ocean and the short boardwalk to the beach.

We didn't want to leave

For our family with six adults and four children this place right on the beach was perfect. We have stayed in Oregon and Maine and while each was special, this beach was the best in terms of swimming and playing in the water; being able to walk right out to the beach is unbelievable. House was great, tho since we are cooks, we bought and left a few cleaning supplies for the next guests. (And for cooks there are a few spices there.) Beds really comfortable, kitchen well equipped, staff at Folly's Best were great to work with--it was truly a perfect vacation.
