The Edge of the Edge of America was the perfect spot for a beach vacation. The home was clean, right on the beach with plenty of room for our group. We also enjoyed the proximity to fun restaurants in Folly and it was only a short drive to Charleston. We would love to come back, and highly recommend it!

The property was well maintained and very comfortable for lounging and enjoying the beautiful ocean views! Very quiet and peaceful. Daily beach walks were a highlight to our time on Foley Beach

Great location and house

We had a great time at Folly Beach. It was fantastic to be right on the beach and the house was perfect for our group. We loved walking the beach at low tide and finding treasures. It was great being at the end of the island. Would definitely stay again!

The house was very well stocked (including spices and tupperware - so rare for a rental!) and it was right on the beach - beautiful spot! Heads up that the check-in and check-out times are 4 and 10, respectively (I think 3 and 11 are more common), so the first and last days are kind of lost. May be harder to park more than 2 cars if you have large SUVs - chunk of the driveway is oddly reserved 24/7 for the owner. Overall good value!

Perfect location

We loved the location of this house! It was far enough away from the bustle of “town” but just a short golf cart ride away. Very peaceful right next to the nature preserve. Wonderful time!

Great beach vacation!

The location was perfect, right on the beach. The house was very clean and well stocked. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off after a day at the beach. The views were absolutely amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay at the property! You can't beat the location and the view and the comfortable home made it that much better! The home was very clean and everything was ready for us upon check-in. We were delighted to see that there were in fact beach towels and chairs even though they were not listed in the description of ammenities. There was a small issue with being given the wrong key code to enter the property but the manager resolved that for us quickly. Advice for future guests: the icemaker is VERY slow to make ice so we reccommend bringing a bag of ice with you. Also, one of the beds on the first floor is listed as a queen but we are quite certain it is a full/double, just something to be aware of for determining who will sleep where. Get ready to relax and enjoy!

Wonderful property!

The property had everything we needed. The home was clean. We loved all the special touches the owners did to make us feel welcome...including leaving a handwritten card with some of their favorite things to do and places to eat. Great location on the beach. We had no issues with the property and look forward to staying here again!

Paradise on the beach

Our own little beach paradise in this beautiful home. Special touches made it welcoming!! Steps to the sand ! Open bedroom sliding door to beautiful views and sounds of the waves put you to sleep at night ! Only regret is we event able to stay longer !

First, let me say, you are paying for the view! It’s a 10/10. The house could have been a little nicer. The TV reception was very spotty with the picture “fuzzing” in and out constantly. The refrigerator had a small constant leak and the upstairs bathroom towel rack was broken. The upstairs master bedroom is without a dresser which just seemed odd. I didn’t notice when I signed up but, no towels or beach gear was provided. They do provide a voucher for a company to provide gear but, it is an extra cost. Just be aware. The location is great IMO as I prefer a secluded beach. There is no life guard at this end of the beach but that didn’t pose a problem for us. The town of Folly is great. Nice restaurants and during the week, there’s never a problem just walking in without a reservation. It’s a surf town and we liked that. Charleston was great to visit. We would return to Folly.

The Edge of the Edge Was Just the Getaway We Needed!

My wife, our three kids, my mother-in-law, and I could not have been happier with our stay on the edge of the edge. The privacy, seclusion, and view cannot be beaten! The house was beautiful, spotless, and one of the best stocked VRBOs we have ever stayed in (welcome basket, note with local recommendations, extra towels, spices, medical kit, etc.). I cannot imagine staying anywhere else the next time we are in Folly Beach!

Family Vacay!

This place is amazing. It is the best location I've ever seen. Because worth the end of the beach it's not as crowded. The views are magnificent. We saw dolphin daily, we chartered someone to come out and fish from the shore with us and we caught a lemon shark that was 8'7", we played in the water we relaxed. It was just the perfect vacation and the spot had a lot to do with that. We loved it.

Bucket List---Check

This house was a dream come true! The comfort of the home and the beauty of the beach was second to none. An unplanned joy was the beautiful full moon that lit the ocean with silver light. It was a bucket list for us to spend a few nights on the ocean- check.

Family beach trip

Wonderful beach house. Floor to ceiling windows in the living and dining areas of the house offered amazing views of the ocean. The house also had a great wrap around deck with nice rocking chairs/ outdoor furniture. We were able to watch the sunrise and sunset from the living room and back porch. Very well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Would absolutely stay here again. Our family loved our visit to Folly Beach and the house.

Beach Heaven

This property was awesome. The views were breath taking. Everything you needed was there. We were welcomed with a beautiful card and basket of snacks. It was fun having the house to ourselves. We slept upstairs and listened to the ocean every night. What a dream to be able to relax and refresh in this gem of a property. Can’t wait to come back:)

Family getaway

The house and beach were spectacular. There is no reason to leave the property, and for many reasons wish we hadn’t. The host was kind and gracious and checked in immediately when there was a concern about the AC. This response was greatly appreciated! Beautiful home!

Family getaway and reunion

Outstanding view and location... felt as if we were on a private beach. Everything we needed was there... and if we did have a problem you were right there to help fix or replace the item. Great Location for beach activity

Everything was as advertised. We did not have WiFi the entire week but my understanding was that was the provider was down in the neighborhood. It was actually nice to not be connected.
