Luxury Sedona Home | 3BR | Private Hot Tub & Sauna
Approaching down Last Wagon Drive, the road heads directly toward Coffee Pot Rock â red rock views unfolding before you, towering stone pines lining the way. Keep an eye out for javelina families at dusk. The babies are worth stopping for.
What waits at the end of that drive is one of Sedona's most architecturally significant homes. This mid-century modern main house was designed by Howard Madole, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright who spent time at Taliesin West before bringing Wright's philosophy of organic architecture to Sedona. Madole camped on this very property for two weeks before drawing a single line â studying how the light moved, where the stars aligned, how the red rocks framed the sky.
That intention is felt everywhere. The peak window above the dining and living room perfectly frames a star constellation at night. The kitchen window streams desert sun rays into the space at dusk. Of all the Madole homes in the area, this is the only one without a structural beam running the length of the main ceiling â an open, soaring space that is entirely his own.
The result is a home that doesn't just sit in the Sedona landscape â it belongs to it.
Nearly 2,600 square feet of single-level living, designed around light, stone, and the surrounding desert. Three king bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that flows to the outdoors.
The master suite includes a spa-style en suite with soaking tub, rain shower, vintage vanity, large closet, and in-suite washer and dryer. Two additional king bedrooms share a hall bathroom with walk-in shower and custom vanity. All bedrooms include hotel-quality linens, plush bedding, robes, luggage racks, and smart TVs.
The kitchen is fully equipped for group cooking â cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave â opening to a dining area that seats eight and a living room designed for gathering after a day on the trails.
Outdoors
The backyard is where this property becomes extraordinary. Coffee Pot Rock rises directly in front of you. Morning coffee here, with birds and the quiet of the desert, is an experience guests describe again and again in reviews.
The outdoor wellness area includes a hot tub, infrared sauna, outdoor shower, and a vintage soaking tub â all open to the red rock sky. A propane BBQ, outdoor dining area, deep seating lounge, and propane fire pit with Adirondack chairs round out the space. The fire pit is the place to be after dinner â s'mores optional, stargazing mandatory.
