Welcome to Dreaming Tree Escapes, a beautifully renovated A-Frame cabin on nearly five private wooded acres in the heart of the Catskills.

Set among towering pines on a quiet mountain road — no double yellow lines here — this modern rustic escape offers peace, privacy, and easy access to adventure and fresh mountain air. You’re just 8 minutes to Windham and 12 minutes to Hunter Mountain, perfect for skiing, hiking, or simply unwinding under the stars.

Just over two hours from NYC, it’s an easy drive for a romantic weekend, family ski trip, or creative retreat.





The Space

🌲 Outdoor Living

Outside, gather around the huge fire pit (with plenty of wood provided) to roast marshmallows and stargaze. For kids, there’s even a treehouse hidden in the pines for hours of creative play.

🏡 Inside the Cabin

Inside, the cabin features two bedrooms two brand new full baths - both with modern showers. The remodeled kitchen includes new appliances, full cookware, and a breakfast nook overlooking the woods. After dinner, curl up on the sofa for movie night on the 65” TV or light the wood-burning stove for true cabin vibes.

• Downstairs bedroom – Queen bed with en-suite bathroom

• Upstairs primary bedroom – King bed

• Separate loft area – Twin bed

There are two full bathrooms, both with modern showers.

High-speed Wi-Fi makes remote work and streaming easy when needed.



Important Layout Notes (Please Read Before Booking)

We want every guest to feel fully informed and comfortable before booking. So, we kindly ask that you read the following to ensure this home is a good fit for your group:

• The upstairs bedroom and loft are accessed by a spiral staircase and may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns.

• Due to the A-Frame design, storage space is limited. Dressers are provided, but there are no traditional closets.

• The upstairs bedroom does not have traditional blackout shades, which is part of the classic A-Frame design and natural light experience.

• There is a locked owner’s closet and basement that are not accessible to guests.



Mountain Cabin Living

This home is set in a peaceful, wooded mountain environment. You may encounter uneven ground, wildlife, seasonal weather changes, and the natural beauty that comes with cabin living.

We provide firewood and ask that outdoor features be enjoyed responsibly.



Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire cabin and surrounding five acres; with the exception of the owners closet and the basement.



House Guidelines

We’ve put a lot of care into creating Dreaming Tree Escapes and simply ask guests to treat it with the same respect they would their own home.

• No parties or events

• No smoking inside

• No commercial photography or filming without prior approval

• Fire pit use requires an adult present at all times

• Please do not cut directly on the butcher block

• Only registered guests may stay overnight



Checkout

We keep checkout simple:

• No need to strip beds

• Please place used towels in the washing machine

• Dispose of trash in designated bins



Soft Launch Note

We are currently in a soft launch phase while completing a few final cosmetic touches. All essential amenities are fully functional, and guest comfort is not impacted.
