In the north-western part of the island of Usedom there is the Baltic Sea town of Zinnowitz, the largest and most traditional seaside town, just 6km from Lütow. The island is known for its charming contrasts, with forests and a lake. The varied landscape, with beech, oak and coniferous forests along the coast, as well as the moors and the meadows towards the Achterwasser, give the island its charm.
