Great weekend place to stay!

Perfect place for our family of 10 to stay and sleep comfortably while attending a family wedding at Camp Lucy nearby! Has all you need for the weekend! Would book again!

Big home in the hill country

Large home well situated to explore the hill country. We particularly enjoyed the covered patio, a great place for breakfast or the evenings. Accommodations were good. Only complaint was the supplies could have been better.

Wonderful property

Lots of spaces to hang and relax. Beautiful view from the roof. Awesome fire pit and spacious bedrooms. Perfect for a group of friends or families to stay with access to dripping springs.

Wedding Get Away

Our good friends were getting married at Prospect House and this house was perfect for our large group and so close to the wedding venue. Beautiful backyard and patio, and lots of space. Would stay again.

Hill country experience

We had an excellent family time, staff available 24/7, house was clean and with a lot of rooms… thermostat heater continued to go out constantly in cold weather. Other than that, we had a pleasant time!

Family Wedding

Loved this home! It was close to everything but still felt secluded. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces. The only little issue was that the downstairs bedroom we stayed in didn't have a closet to hang up our items. Even a clothes rack would be nice. Still giving this home 5 stars!

GREAT for families!

Stayed here with 3 kids and 6 adults for a wedding and it’s like it was made for us! Kids loved having their own area to play and the toys and books were so appreciated. Felt like there was plenty of space to stretch out and get ready for the wedding. Scott was quick to get us extra pillow cases and an extension cord. My only complaint was that it could use a deep clean (like in the couch cushions and corners of the house) but still felt clean. Would definitely return!

Suggestions for improvement

Our floors were not very clean, and I reported as such to the housekeeping number with no response. Also, there was a leak from rain into the dining room when we arrived on Thursday and again into the dining room and the upper floor bedroom on Saturday. It would have been nice to be provided the very basic food prep items of salt, pepper and oil.

Weddings

Our family rented this listing to attend our sons wedding in Dripping Springs. Location to local wedding venue is perfect. 15 minute drive. 5 bedrooms 3 bath. The only thing that one needs to know up front is that there are several step ups or step down locations in this rental which made it difficult for older adults. Dim Lighting on floor in first bedroom to the left would be so helpful. Other areas in the home were marked on the ground with caution tape. It served our needs beautifully. Would recommend for larger families. Location is not convenient for Uber/Lyft nor food delivery. Still gave it 5/5 stars

Our Stay

Overall the stay was great. There are 3 things though that I was put off by. 1. Getting in was somewhat difficult because we did not know the gate code off the bat. The House code was easily found, but the gate code was difficult, and we stood out at the gate tor several minutes before figuring it out. 2. Everyday I got emails about the tablet. I did not like this. Although, the tablet was a good medium for information, a binder or paper would have been just fine and I wouldn’t have to manage those emails everyday. 3. The Plumbing backing up in two of the three baths was terrible. This happened right as we began to get ready to go to the wedding. I am glad that you all were able to speedily get a plumber to the home, but in my mind this should never have happened. Other than those 3 things, it was a beautiful home and beautiful stay. Would stay again.
