Welcome to Mountain Haven, a fully remodeled and beautifully decorated home in the heart of Massanutten Resort. Outside, you can relax in the hot tub or 6 person outdoor sauna, then enjoy a meal at the large outdoor table or sip wine around the firepit. Inside you'll love the open floor plan and well stocked kitchen. Downstairs is a rec room with pool table, arcades and darts, and a separate gym area. Managed by Chris at New School Hosting. The house is about a 7 minute drive to the slopes, pool, and dining at Massanutten, 4 minutes to the spa, and just 5 minutes to the indoor/outdoor Waterpark. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park is 15 minutes away with some of the best hiking on the east coast. JMU and everything else in Harrisonburg is 20 minutes away, and there are several breweries, wineries, and restaurants within 15-20 minutes of the house.

The home layout is as follows:

Outside:

- Rear deck features brand new hot tub, sauna, gas firepit with ample comfy seating, and outdoor dining table for 10.
- Front deck features a few adirondack chairs, bar seating, and gas grill
- Propane is provided for both grill and firepit

Main level:

- Great room with large TV and gas fireplace, open to dining area and kitchen
- Dining table seats 8, plus 4 more at the kitchen island
- Kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. Ground coffee and k-cups provided.
- BR1: Master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bathroom
- BR2: Queen bedroom
- BR3: Queen bedroom
- Hallway full bath with shower/tub combo

Lower level:

- Rec room with couch / TV area, electric fireplace, pool table that can also convert to ping pong or air hockey, 2 arcade machines, and darts
- Gym with weights, yoga mats, kid climbing area, and smart TV
- BR4: Queen bedroom
- BR5: Bunk bedroom with 2 sets of XL twin-over-twin bunk beds
- Full bath with shower/tub combo
- Laundry room with full size washer and dryer

Other things to note:

- Mountain Haven is pet friendly! We allow up to 4 pets with a $100 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night).
- Massanutten offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, dining, spa, ropes course / zip line, golfing, go carts, mini golf, and much more.
- The driveway can fit about 5 vehicles. There is an overflow parking lot at Massanutten if needed.
- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and decks. Four of the bedrooms, the living room, rec room, and gym all feature smart TVs where you can access all the main streaming services.
- We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options
- Guests can enjoy community pool access in the summer season for a $6 per person fee.
- Linens and towels provided
- Pack n play, high chair, and kid dishes/utensils provided
- We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here.

WELCOME TO MASSANUTTEN!

This home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA), governed by its rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests
enjoying their retreat.

NOISE
• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
• Keep noise indoors during these hours.
• No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents.

PARKING
• Keep all tires off the road.
• Don't block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval
from your host.
• Park only in designated areas or overflow lot (4007 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840)
• No buses, campers, or RVs to be parked at homes or on roads. Overflow lot is
available with written approval from your host.


OUTDOOR FIRES
• High wildfire risk area!
• No open fires.
• No unattended fires.
• No firepit use during quiet hours (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergency
conditions, check MassanuttenVillage(dot)com or electronic sign at
entrance for updates.

ALCOHOL
No open containers on roads or in common areas.

PETS
• Leash always required when outside.
• Clean up after your pets.

TRASH
• Do not place garbage/trash outside, including screened-in porches, decks or
carports. Trash attracts wildlife, which could endanger you and damage the property.
