This property was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. It was a little confusing to find initially. We spent most of our time with family in Charlottesville, and this was a convenient place to rest at night and enjoy a little breakfast in the morning.
This was my home for 18 months. Very comfortable. Appointed with all you need for short term or long term visit. Terrific neighborhood. Model host who is very responsive.
Leading up to our visit and from the moment we arrived at the property, our host has been a wonderful communicator.
The place is cute and cozy, decorated very nicely, representing the UVA town of CVille. We had everything we needed from toilet paper, to paper towels, to garbage bags, dish soap, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and plenty of storage space in the closets.
Having access to WiFi as well as Netflix, and a Blu-Ray DVD player, and other DVD players in the bedrooms have been a nice amenity as well.
The condo is a nice short walk to Stonefield Shopping Center with lots of fun reataurants, shops and a Regal Cinemas. Also, the condo is right off of 3 bus lines, which make it easy to travel into the downtown area even without a car.
I absolutely loved the visit at this property and would recommend it to anyone!
Thanks to Trent for being such a gracious and amazing host!
2nd floor apartment (no elevator) was well furnished and had most everything needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen was very small but had what I needed other than it lacked a toaster. The furniture was comfortable; there was a large HD TV with good channel selection and On Demand, and smaller additional TVs in each bedroom. The bathtub is badly stained and the faucets are a complete mystery to use. Both the tub and the faucets need to be replaced. Bring your own toilet paper as there was no backup. The apartment was clean enough but could have been cleaner.
This two-bedroom condo is in a perfect location off Route 29 7 minutes from downtown and the University of Virginia. All you need is here three televisions, cable, towels and bath stuff, bedroom requirements, everything.
Stayed here with 4 of my college friends. Big common areas were great for catching up. Comfortable for 4 people. Owner was very communicative and process was super easy. Would stay here again for sure
Well located home with easy access to UVA. The home was very clean and comfortable for our family. The owner provides kitchen appointments, towels, and linens. The Stonefield shopping center is right across the street with great restaurants and everything you may need during your visit. We would definitely book this home again.
This vacation home was perfect for our stay in Charlottesville. We enjoyed visiting UVA grounds and other historic sites. The location was ideal for easy access to all that Charlottesville has to offer. The vineyards and wineries are second to none. We will plan to stay here again.
Awesome stay. Close to UVA where we were competing.
We had a lovely stay. Place was clean, spacious and close to everything. Cable was not working so one phone call to host Trent and he got it sorted! Would def go back :)
We visited Charlottesville for the UVA soccer game. This home was very clean and brilliantly decorated. The home is stocked with any and everything one would need at a home away from home. There is a lot of room to relax and the beds are very comfortable. The location is ideal for visits to the University of Virginia. The Stonefield shopping center across the street has excellent restaurants, stores, and a state of the art movie theatre. We would definitely stay here again.
Air conditioner not working, condo on second floor, no elevator
When we arrived, the air conditioning was not working & the temperature was 90 degrees. Unable to contact owner or VRBO; had to find lodging, expensive, elsewhere. Still waiting to hear about our refund.
The condo was perfect for 4 friends spending a couple of days in Charlottesville. Very well maintained, clean and has all the amenities you would need. Trent (the owner) was very responsive and provided great detail about the condo and things to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again!
Netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Funktionale groĂrĂ€umige nette Wohnung. Zentrale Lage. Die Sauberkeit war leider nicht so gut. Ziemlich staubig, trotz Teppich kein Sauger vorhanden. Das Geschirr und der Ofen war nicht richtig sauber. Auf dem GĂ€stebett können 2 Personen gut ĂŒbernachten. Nettes Haus und Nachbarn! Waschen und trocknen in der WaschkĂŒche war kein Problem.
Stayed two nights in this apartment and the place was a great spot for my family while in Charlottesville. Very clean and orderly. Beds were very comfortable. The apartment complex in which the condo is located was very quiet, but very close to great shopping and access to highways (and Whole Foods and Trader Joes)
I needed to find a place for my family for a weekend in Cville on short notice. All the hotels we would usually stay at were booked. I found Trentâs place and was happy to find the price, location, and accomodation were all very reasonable. Trent provided great communication from start to finish- couldnât have been easier to get into the unit and feel at home. The apartment complex is showing its age, and if youâre really looking, so is the apartment. However, it was very, very clean inside and we were completely satisfied. Thanks, Trent. We would be glad to stay there again and will recommend it to our friends who may need a place in the area.
Trent's condo in Charlottesville was wonderful for our family! Very well stocked and decorated.
The location was great also, easy to find and quiet at night.
This was my first time to use VRBO and Trent answered all my questions and made me feel right at home. Truly a fantastic host!
Four of us spent 2 nights here. The location is excellent, the beds are quite comfortable, and the home had everything we needed. Downtown and UVA are an easy short drive and an upscale shopping center is only about 2-1/2 blocks away. The location was very quiet and peaceful, too! One of our most enjoyable meals was at Thai Cuisine, just over a block away- both cheap and scrumptious! We visited many nearby historical attractions such as Montpelier and Monticello. If time permits, and you have a big appetite, be sure to have lunch at Michie Tavern, located on the road to Monticello.
This home met our needs perfectly. It was nice to have the 3 TVs with our varied interests in evening television. The bedrooms were nice-sized and had plenty of closet space. It was nice to be greeted with coffee and tea already in the kitchen, and soap and shampoo in the bathroom. This is a very clean, comfortable home and I would recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the area.
Trent's property provided a great place for my mother and me to stay during a one week visit to Charlottesville to see family and attend my 40th high school reunion. Right off Hydraulic Road with a guaranteed parking spot and an additional parking spot for guests, this property is centrally located but yet tucked back off the main road and very quiet. With my mother being 99 years old, the stairs were easily climbed with railings and a landing at the midpoint. The complex is older, but the apartment is cleanly and very nicely appointed. It is very spacious so that we each had our own bedroom and a large living/dining space as well - so much more comfortable than a hotel room - and with a well equipped kitchen so that we could easily prepare some of our meals. The A/C kept the apartment cool despite the very hot weather during our stay. The beds were so comfortable and we awoke well rested each morning. Very close by is the newer Shops at Stonefield with several restaurant choices, theater/IMAX complex, and great shops. There is a laundry facility in the building, but since we were vacationing and I needed a break from chores, there is also a laundromat very close by where I was able to drop off a load and pick it up beautifully laundered/folded. Trent was a great host, staying in contact by email and leaving us a lovely plant as a welcome gift. Will look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Charlottesville.
This was the perfect place for our family of four during UVA Reunions Weekend. The owner has such a clean and organized condo with plenty of movies, toys, and games for kids. The location is super convenient to UVA and the shopping center across the street offers many dining and shopping options. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond. We definitely recommend staying here and will do so again ourselves!
We currently live in the Washington, DC area and visit Charlottesville as often as time will allow. Whether visiting for University of Virginia functions, athletic events, or down time from the big city, Charlottesville never disappoints. We may attend a football game or a polo match. We may shop at the many stores or picnic on the lawn. We may stroll the downtown mall or visit a nearby vineyard for wine and cheese. We may tour Monticello or reminisce on the Corner. No matter the agenda, we always head home discussing our next trip back.
As a graduate of the University of Virginia, I have always dreamed of having a home in Charlottesville, Virginia. Even more, I look forward to sharing my wonderful memories of past and to come with others that visit one of the best places in the world. We have decorated the home in shades of orange and blue to help commemorate our love for this special place.
Location, location, location...We wanted to make sure that you could visit the many wonderful destinations in Charlottesville without much effort. The University of Virginia is within two (2) miles. The historic sites are close by. Shopping and restaurants are right outside our door. The location is very convenient for any Charlottesville destination, and the home is renovated for your comfort to just relax, feel at home, and enjoy.
