This recently-finished basement apartment is the perfect place for 1-4 guests to spend a month or more in Charlottesville!
Wonderfully located located ~1 mi from Scott Stadium and UVA, ~2 mi from UVA Hospital and the Downtown Mall, and <1 mi from i64, all of Câville is just a short drive away! All basic amenities (clean linens & shower supplies) are included, as well as ground coffee and kitchen basics.
At this time we're exclusively renting to guests for 28 days or more :)
THE SPACE
This 2-BR basement apartment uses an open floor plan in the kitchen/living space to give this cozy space a bright and wide-open feel. The beautifully-tiled bathroom is the perfect compliment to two inviting bedrooms, each with a queen bed and plenty of storage. Guests also have their own private washer/dryer until for en-suite laundry at no additional cost!
Our home uses energy-efficient lighting and appliances, and all provided paper products (TP and paper towels) are sustainably-sourced using bamboo.
This basement apartment is entirely your own, with your own parking, separate exterior entrance, and even your own HVAC zone and thermostat. Itâs a perfect spot to really make you feel at home for an extended stay.
We've hosted students doing extended rotations at UVA, as well as many travel nurses working at UVA Hospital, often for months at a time. Although we can't guarantee absolute silence, we've often hosted night-shift workers and can accommodate relatively low-noise levels upstairs during the day.
GUEST ACCESS
You'll have access to the entire (separate) basement apartment: the entryway, living/kitchen area, two bedrooms, laundry room, and the bathroom. We live upstairs, but the house is totally separate (duplex-style). You are welcome to use our spacious 0.5-acre backyard anytime you like.
OTHER NOTES
Because we live above the apartment and have a baby at home, our sleep is super important to us! We ask that you keep noise levels down between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am, and we do the same for you!
