Welcome to this charming waterfront cottage in Reeds Beach, perfectly positioned directly on the Delaware Bay with 175 feet of private beach frontage. This peaceful coastal retreat offers breathtaking, unobstructed bay views and spectacular sunsets—best enjoyed from the waterfront deck overlooking the water or from a beach chair on your own private stretch of shoreline.

Unwind to the soothing bay breeze while watching shore birds, and local wildlife drift by. Cast your favorite fishing pole right off the waterfront deck or surf-fish on the private beach.

The cottage features 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms across two levels, accommodating a family or a group. After a day on the beach, rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower before settling in for a sunset dinner or a quiet evening on the deck.

While the setting is wonderfully secluded, you’re still close to everything the Jersey Shore has to offer. Ocean beaches and board walk, shopping, dining, local favorites, and everyday essentials are only 5 to 15 miles away.

Everything about this place is perfect. Location, cleanliness, and the views are 2nd to none. Hosts are the best, answer and respond to questions very quickly. Would definitely stay there again.

The highlight of our stay was the deck off the back of house. We spent a good amount of time. The house was so cute a bit small but they did a good job making use of the space! Would 10/10 recommend to anyone.

A gorgeous gorgeous beach house RIGHT on the water. So cozy and beautiful- makes you not want to leave plus the hosts were extremely understanding, helpful and communicative. Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our trip to Cape May!

Cute! Cute! Cute! Very nicely appointed and decorated, like something from the pages of a decorator magazine. From standing on the deck to looking out the rear windows, you feel as if you are floating on water. Peaceful location to get away from it all, yet surprisingly close to restaurants and shops in Cape May Courthouse. Five adults stayed here (65) and were comfortable. The second floor is charming but, as noted in the VRBO description, it may present a challenge to those who are tall. The upstairs bathroom is very well appointed with a claw foot tub, no shower, but we were more than happy with the outdoor shower. We would happily stay here again.

The stay was amazing - gorgeous, clean rooms and responsive host. I would definitely come back.This has nothing to do with the home, but the time of year we stayed here (late June) there were swarms of greenhead flies outside, making it hard to sit outside or enjoy the beach, so I would be mindful of this when planning a trip. Besides this, lots of beautiful wildlife and birds around to watch.

Regarding the greenhead flies — yes, they are more active during certain weeks in warm months here on the coast. It's one of those natural seasonal things (ex. horseshoe crabs spawning, turtles nesting, migratory birds, mosquitoes, no-see-ums, etc.) that comes with beach life. Every season brings its own wildlife highlights, and yes annoyance such as flies :( As a precaution, we recommend guests to bring some long sleeve shirts/pants, and good anti-bug measures during warm months. This way you will be able to fully enjoy the beautiful sunsets, private beach, and peaceful coastal scenery. Thank you again for staying with us and for this helpful review!

There are not enough words to express how wonderful it was staying at your beach cottage. I wasn't sure how it would be because this was our first vacation since my husband passed away from Covid and it took several years to be able to afford a vacation. However, everything was perfect, the price..the amazing waterfront views.. fabulous sunsets ,,the homey feel , comfortable beds and extremely clean.. Not to mention the awesome sounds of the water singing us to sleep. Coffee on the deck in the morning with our stroll along the beach. Then there's the perfect location to everything to see and do. We are already planning our trip for next year. Too any positive things to list !! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your fabulous beach home and starting new memories.
