It is about 7.5 kilometres to the port of Syra and 3 km to the airport. Also a short distance from the beach is the small island of Famprikas or otherwise Ambelos, where you can swim. It is good to have a car to see the rest of the beauties of Syra too, but if you don't in 400 metres approximately on the central road there is bus for Ermoypoli. Closer beaches that you can visit on foot (10 minutes approximately) are, from one side, the organised beach of Vari, where you can shop (mini market, kiosk) have a drink on the sea, eat fresh fish in the taverns or also a really good souvlaki. On the other side is the quiet beautiful beach Santorinioi ideal choice if you want to enjoy your swim in the crystal water far from the crowds of tourists. If you have chosen Syra for your holiday, the house in Famprika is a very good choice for a pleasant stay.
