Inside, you’ll find 4 ultra-unique fantasy-themed bedrooms (1 King-sized bed, 3 Queen-sized) and 3 full bathrooms, including a romantic heart-shaped bathtub. Gather in the sunken living room with soaring cedar ceilings and a self-playing grand piano. Enjoy movie nights in the private home theater with a 120” projector screen and a cozy karaoke stage. Cook together in the large, fully equipped kitchen featuring a double oven for easy group cooking.

Outdoors, relax on wooded acreage with your own private hot tub under the trees. Just 2 miles from Lake Michigan’s beaches, shops, and wineries, Sweetheart Hideaway offers a rare blend of vintage charm, spacious comfort, and total seclusion—perfect for romantic escapes, anniversaries, and honeymoon stays.

This retreat is thoughtfully curated for adult getaways. All guests must be 18 or older, with a maximum of 8 registered guests. To preserve the serene setting, the home is not suitable for children, pets, or outside visitors.

We welcome birthdays, bachelorette trips, honeymoon stays, and cozy celebrations, as long as they are limited to the registered guests on the reservation. This is not a party house—no outside guests, no gatherings, and no exceptions.

Photography & Filming Policy
Professional, semi-professional, or commercial photoshoots are not permitted under standard overnight bookings. This includes content for commercial use, sponsored posts, branded content, collaborations, or promotional filming.

Casual vacation photos for personal use are welcome. We love when guests capture their memories here!

Any photoshoot or filming conducted without prior approval will result in a $1,000 violation fee plus the full photoshoot booking rate. This policy is strictly enforced. For shoot inquiries, please reach out for separate booking rates and approval.

Hot Tub
The hot tub is professionally maintained, but temperature and water quality may vary. Guests must rinse off before use and avoid lotions or oils, which damage the system. Refunds are not provided for hot tub preferences or issues beyond our control.

Vintage Character & Décor
Sweetheart Hideaway is a vintage property filled with whimsical, one-of-a-kind furnishings and décor. It is not a hotel, and with its age and character come a few quirks. Please treat the home with care. Any missing or damaged items will be charged at replacement value.

Shoes & Slippers
Guests are asked to remove shoes indoors to minimize wear and tear, keep the home clean, and maintain a sanitary environment for future guests. Slippers are provided for comfort but are for indoor use only, not outside or in the yard. Please also respect quiet hours from 10pm–8am and enjoy the home’s unique details responsibly.
