Hi, I’m Tara!
I’m the owner and property manager of this home, and hosting is something I truly love. I’m a musician by trade, but architecture, aesthetics, and thoughtful decor are my other great passions—this home is very much a reflection of that creative balance.

Originally from Canada, I’ve been a full-fledged Californian for many years now. I’ve successfully operated this property for over eight years, and it has become a guest favorite thanks to the care, attention, and intention I put into every detail.

I genuinely enjoy creating a space where guests feel relaxed, inspired, and well taken care of. Whether it’s comfort, beauty, or a sense of calm you’re looking for, my goal is to make your stay feel special and effortless.

What I love most about this neighborhood is how central it is to everything that makes the High Desert so special. We’re located in Landers, right on the border of Joshua Tree, which gives you the best balance of peace, space, and access to iconic desert destinations.

Landers has a unique, almost otherworldly, planetary vibe—quiet roads, wide-open skies, and a deep creative and spiritual history. Just minutes away are some of the area’s most legendary landmarks, including The Integratron, La Copine, and Giant Rock. Nearby, Giant Rock Meeting Room is a favorite local spot for great pizza and live music.

One of our favorite things about this location is how close we are to Pioneertown—just about 22 minutes away. Pioneertown is home to the legendary Pappy & Harriet’s, known worldwide for live music, food, and unforgettable desert nights.
