SUMMER 2026 SEASON:
- Weâre booking full weeks (Sun-Sun) starting late June.
- Minimum 4-day-stay is required for late Aug through Labor Day.
- If youâre interested in a different number of days, please reach out!
IMPORTANT:
1. Our Lake House can accommodate up to 8 guests including children. It is NOT okay to sneak in additional people or think they can sleep on couches/blow-up mattresses. Please donât book our property if your party is larger than 8. We will ask additional persons to leave immediately and will impose a minimum of $250 per person per day fine if you donât comply. We may make an exception for a small child but that has to be disclosed and agreed upon prior to booking.
2. This is a NON-SMOKING property, inside and outside. No smoking or vaping is allowed anywhere on the property.
3. Outdoor furniture and equipment (paddle boards, kayaks, etc.) are put away for the winter and will not be available Nov - mid-May.
4. Fire pit usage may be restricted by state/local ordinances (e.g. fire ban due to drought conditions) and due to weather (e.g. snow cover).
5. The balcony and patio will be cleaned before your arrival but since those are outside spaces, you'll likely bring in some sand from the beach and cobwebs may appear in the outdoor living areas during your stay. In the fall, leaves can accumulate within minutes. We provide a leaf blower and brooms if it's necessary for you to sweep the space during your stay.
6. The water level in the lake is controlled by the dam and itâs lower by a few feet during the cold season (Nov/Dec - Apr/May). When this happens the docks will be completely out of the water. We have no control over it.
7. Maximum stay is 14 nights.
Things Provided:
- Linens, bath towels and beach towels. Please do not use bath towels as beach towels.
- Hand soap and laundry detergent.
- Phone/tablet charging stations and cables throughout the house.
- For coffee lovers, drip coffee maker, pour over, as well as Nespresso maker (limited number of cups provided, you can bring more, we have the Nespresso Essenza Mini).
- Cooking oil and basic spices.
- Step stools in all bathrooms, pack-n-play and booster/high chair.
House/Lake Rules:
- Respect the 10 mph speed limit on our road.
- No extra guests inside or outside.
- No pets.
- Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind anywhere on the property.
- The house is NOT child-proof. You are solely responsible for supervising your children at all times.
- Do not discard anything in the toilet other than toilet paper (absolutely no feminine products, diapers, wipes of any kind, paper towels, trash, etc.).
- No parties or events.
- No fireworks (illegal in Wakefield NH).
- No illegal activity.
- No moving the grill. Use metal grill utensils only on the outdoor grill, no wood or plastic.
- No shoes in the house to help protect our brand new floors.
- No moving/rearranging furniture.
- Quiet hours are 10pm - 8am. Please respect our neighbors.
- Enjoy all the toys, games, and amenities respectfully, and put them back clean into their original locations.
- Our driveway is plowed during the winter and our contractor does his best to arrive in a timely manner but delays are possible. Please park all vehicles tightly together to give the plow room. There is plenty of rock salt and shovels by the front door if you need other areas cleared.
- There is no lifeguard on duty. You are solely responsible for supervising your children at all times.
- Swim, enjoy the lake and use any floating device (kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, pedal boat, etc.) at you own risk.
- NH law requires each person to have a life jacket and kids 12 and under to wear it while on watercraft. Marine Patrol does check and issues fines.
- No diving off the docks as the water is shallow.
- No glass on the beach.
- Do not attempt to remove watercraft from the kayak rack by yourself as you risk injury and may damage the equipment or the rack. Always use two people to remove, carry and return the equipment.
- Do not stand on top of the paddle boards on the beach. This will break the fin. Always keep them upside down when not in use.
- When not in use, pull paddle boards, kayaks, canoe, etc. far enough onto the beach so they donât float away or return them to the kayak rack.
- Return life jackets and any toys back to their original locations. Do not leave them close to the shore unattended as the wind can blow them into the water.
- Do not use bath towels as beach towels.
- Use the foot washers or shake sand off before entering the house.
- NH requires fishing license for all that wish to fish on the lake, otherwise you risk getting fined by the Marine Patrol. Fishing license can be purchased at the New Deal General Store (5 min drive).
- Please treat our property like it was your own. If something breaks or gets damaged, please notify us.
THANK YOU & HAVE FUN!
