Chalet situé dans les vergers de Greene Cove. Situé dans un ancien verger de pommiers. La propriété a plusieurs pommiers en attente d'être cueillis. La cabine a 2 lits Queen, 2 lits jumeaux avec 2 salles de bain complètes. Les baignoires comprennent des éviers en cuivre avec des comptoirs en marbre. La cuisine a des comptoirs en granit. Cheminée en pierre empilée avec bûches à gaz haut de gamme. Planchers de bois franc en pin. Loft confortable pour profiter d'une vue sur la montagne à longue distance. Aménagement paysager extensif avec grand patio en dalle avec foyer en pierre empilé. Terrasse couverte avec beaucoup de chaises berçantes. Satellite haute définition avec grande télévision à écran plat dans la tanière et 1 télévision dans la chambre Queen. Faune abondante pour inclure les cerfs, la dinde, etc. Chalet situé à seulement plusieurs miles des ruisseaux à truites pour la pêche et la Blue Ridge Parkway. Les attractions à proximité incluent l'extraction de pierres précieuses, les magasins d'antiquités et de poterie. Barbecue à gaz sur le porche pour cuisiner.

Aucun animal de compagnie n'est autorisé, mais une exception peut être faite pour les petites races et si mis en cage. Nous avons malheureusement eu quelques problèmes
avec des chiens de grande race.

N'oubliez pas que vous serez dans le désert et qu'il y a des animaux sauvages, y compris des ours. Prenez les précautions nécessaires pour vous, votre famille et vos amis.

Bakersville Mountain Retreat

Enjoyed our stay in Bakersville at the cabin in the mountains. Beautiful home with great views and clean property. Plan to stay there again!

Perfect canin for a family gathering

We really enjoyed the porch and spent most of our time there. We made some great memories. Incredible view and we watched the sun go down every night.

We love this cabin!

Such a great place to stay! There is plenty of room for the family and the cabin has everything we need. We love the fire pit and wrap around porch.

Family getaway

My family and I had a wonderful and very relaxing getaway vacation during school break for the holidays. The cabin was very nice and well maintained. Would recommend for those trying to get away and relax. Very quiet area out of town.

Had a Great Time

House was great. A little bit of an adventure getting there for us city folk, but very rewarding once we arrived. The host, Gary, was very helpful during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing weekend

Spent Labor Day weekend up at this cabin. Everything was as listed. Beautiful sunsets each night off the deck.

Art Weekend

We stayed at the cabin to participate in the Toe River Arts Studio tour and we had a great weekend. The cabin was a great home base and place to relax after a day of touring and seeing amazing local art. The view from the deck was very nice. The place was clean and convenient. We will return.

Best Place Ever

I love everything about this home and location. I could sit all day just looking out over the field to the mountain range in the distance. Sunsets are especially gorgeous. And the home is really comfortable. We work while we're there, and the wifi works fine for two people (though we brought an extender to be safe). This was our second stay, and I hope there will be more.

Cozy Cabin

We always enjoy our stay at your cabin. It was so comfortable and cozy with all the luxuries. The décor is amazing and the beds were very comfortable. Many times, when staying away from home we miss our “own bed” but these were very comfortable. We have actually stayed here several times throughout the year and each season has its own beauty. We love the view of the gorgeous sunset falling behind the mountains and the reading nook on the second floor. Very peaceful and relaxing and we would highly recommend to anyone!!

Hiker's sanctuary

We were two couples interested in hiking Roan Mountain for the first time. Gary's cabin is in the perfect location just a beautiful 15 mile drive from the trail head. Gary's cabin is also the perfect sanctuary after a wonderful day hiking the Roan Balds. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, rain and shine, while grilling our dinner. The cabin is very comfortable and very charming with stunning views of the stunning sunsets! We'd love to come back!

Beary Cozy Cabin is a MUST

This adorable plot of land was everything we needed and more. The views off the deck are breath taking!!! We made sure we were at the cabin every sunset so we could watch the days end in awe. So grateful we got to experience the beauty of the earth all around us for a solid week. Gary is an amazing host. We plan to be back in the future. Thank you Gary for sharing your cabin with my family!

Fabulous Vacation Cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beary Cozy Cabin! The mountain views are spectacular and the surroundings are so peaceful. The cabin is very clean and comfortable and has everything needed for a perfect stay. The linens were soft and comfy and not old and scratchy as we've experienced in some rentals. We enjoyed photographing the beautiful flowers and all the wildlife--deer, bunnies, chipmunks, turkeys, and lots of birds. What a paradise! We hiked and explored Roan Mountain on two different days. Everything about the Roan Highlands is spectacular! We visited some neat shops in Bakersville and the Penland School of Crafts was awesome. The nearby Harvest Market & Cafe has great food and nice veggies. It was a wonderful vacation and if we visit this area again, we'll definitely stay here!

Perfect Family Getaway

My family and I recently spent five days and four nights at this beautiful cabin in the mountains. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. We loved waking up to sit on the deck with a cup of coffee and look at the mountains in the distance, and to watch the sun set at night. We enjoyed the awesome fire pit and swing. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the furnishings and decor were rustic and tasteful. We saw plenty of wildlife - deer right outside the cabin, birds including cardinals, blue jays, gold finches and hummingbirds, and many varieties of butterflies. It was an easy drive from the breathtaking Blue Ridge Parkway (where we saw a bear!) and just a few miles from the charming little town of Bakersville, where my husband did some fly fishing while I checked out the local Farmers' Market and chatted with some of the locals. We had a wonderful time at Gary's cabin, and hope to visit again someday!

December 2020 family stay

The cabin was newer and better than it looked on the photos and the Christmas tree inside and outside Christmas lights were a nice surprise. There was snow when we arrived which was fun and we had a fire in the fire pit outside (wood provided by owner which was very nice). The gas fireplace in the family room was great and heated up the area so we were definitely warm and cozy. Had a great hike at Roan mountain and enjoyed downtown Bakersville. Went to Asheville one day. Unfortunately all of the cut your own trees down farms were sold out, but we bought an already cut tree and it's beautiful. On the down side there were quite a few lady bugs in the family room and a sewage smell in the down stairs bathroom that came and went and we couldn't detect the source. Overall a great stay!!

Cozy Cabin Getaway

We had a wonderful trip to Bakersville and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very quiet, very clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. My two minor suggestions would be to add another towel hook in the master bathroom and to spray for ants around the tree trunk seats around the fire-pit. One in particular had an ant hill up against it. In addition to enjoying the fire pit, we were able to see deer, chipmunks, and lightning bugs from the back deck as well as a beautiful sunset. It was a 45-minute drive to our hike at the beautiful Crabtree Falls. We also spent some time in the Little Switzerland area - about 20-30 minutes away. Something to keep in mind - many restaurants are closed on Sundays and some on Monday as well. Thank you for sharing your cozy cabin with us!

Mountain sunsets in Bakersville nature preserve..

This home is attractive with beautiful sunsets, landscaping and lots of animals to watch from the deck. I feel that they slip in accommodating guests with the lack of towel bars and hooks in bathrooms, no place for clothes in downstairs bedrooms. ( chests of drawers, hangers, hooks). The front windows are very hot and provide a lot of glare from 3:00pm - 7:30pm....The kitchen needs cleaning out and accessing pots, knives etc. The deck needs more small side tables, rockers, a table by the grill and a picnic table.. It could easily be a five star plus...There is a lot to do in nearby area, hiking, galleries, caverns..

The communication with property owner was amazing. The views were spectacular and the cabin its self was more amazing than the pictures. 10/10 would definitely recommend and will stay again!

The property is absolutely stunning. Pictures on the posting don't do it justice. Communication with host is expectational. The drive up is not bad at all. The views from the porch are amazing. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay out here.

The owner grew up in North Carolina and has fly fished since he was 12 years old. The area offers several trophy trout streams for trout fishing. After building my cabin a few years ago, I realized more people should be able to experience the peacefulness of this wonderful place, even if only for a week or so. I currently live a few hours away and I hope you get as much enjoyment out of a Beary Cozy Cabin and I continue to have.

The unbelievably long range mountain views and spectacular sunsets are a beauty to behold. Abundant wildlife includes turkey, deer, rabbit, bear, coyote and more. A great family getaway or a cozy intimate place for 2. The large stone firepit is the center of attraction at night for roasting marsh-mellows or hotdogs.
