The Space:

Enjoy the bright, naturally lit sunroom, relax in two comfortable living areas with large Smart TVs and fireplaces, or catch up on work in the dedicated workspace with fast Wi-Fi. The spacious kitchen and dining area are perfect for food lovers, featuring high ceilings and abundant natural light. Thoughtfully decorated bedrooms provide cozy, restful nights for everyone.



The true standout is the Cowboy Cabin. This dedicated game space is built for fun, connection, and memories. Play classic games, enjoy arcade favorites, and gather around the bar for laughs and friendly competition. There is truly something for everyone, making Carebear Cabin an unforgettable retreat.



IMPORTANT NOTE:

To protect our home, a short rental agreement is required after booking. The agreement will be sent to you and must be signed before check-in details are provided. A sample can be viewed in the House Rules section.



Close to the Races:

Pocono Raceway is just minutes away. On Friday, June 20, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will be hosted nearby, including practice, qualifying, and the main race.

Other Things to Note:

COMMUNITY REGISTRATION:

- The cabin is located in the Brier Crest Woods community. All guests are required to be registered with the community before booking.

- All membership fees are included in your reservation, and we take care of handling your registration before your arrival!

- Please note, after you book, we will have additional questions that will need to be answered to complete your registration.

- Each registration includes 10 guests. If you plan to have any individuals over this number, you will need to pay an additional $5 per person. (Note, children under 6 are not included in the guest count.)

- Each registration receives up to 4 vehicle passes. If you plan to have more than 4, it costs $10 per vehicle pass. Upon arrival, you will need to collect your vehicle passes in the mailbox, in front of the cabin, and hang them on your vehicles rearview mirrors.

- There are community wrist bands located at the cabin. These can be used if you plan to use any of the community areas, such as the beach, basketball court, trash dumpster, etc. The wrist bands are reusable and should be left at the cabin when you depart.

We love the environment, and are doing everything that we can to minimize our carbon footprint on this area. Here are a few ways that we are loving on the beautiful environment, and welcoming you to join us!

- We use high-quality, sustainable mattresses and linens

- We offer a drip coffee maker so that you can reduce your single-use pod disposable, while opting for a pot of coffee to eliminate waste!

- All of our toiletries are eco-friendly, clean products that come with reusable dispenser bags to eliminate waste.

- We use LED lighting throughout the home to minimize electricity usage. Thanks to the natural sunshine, you can soak in the sun that floods this home through all of the large windows, without using excessive home lightning during the day!

- Our home is in a great location for Instacart! Make grocery shopping for the family easy while saving on gas!

Just so that you are prepared before your arrival:

1. The community does have some rules for the maintenance and safety of its residents. There is a book with everything listed out for you inside of the home upon arrival. Don't worry, it is nothing crazy :)

2. Swimming: You are not able to access the water directly from the home. You will need to access the water for swimming or fishing from the beach area.

3. Kayaking: All entry of kayaks MUST happen from the boat dock along Elk Dr. You are welcome to enter here- Not at the beach area, only from the boat dock area. (Please note Kayaks are not available Oct 31st through April 30th per community rules)

4. Fishing: If you are going to fish at all you must have a PA state fishing license.

5. To access the Brier Crest amenities you must have a wrist band which we will have inside of the home.





Please Note:



1. We will need to register you as a guest in the community - because of this, we may have some additional questions for you before you arrive.

2. Pet Policy: This property is NOT pet friendly. Please note, if we find evidence of an unauthorized pet in the home, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and guests will be charged a $400 non-refundable fine. This is also grounds for immediate removal of the guests from the home.

3. No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay a $200.00 / per day.

4. Quiet hours for the property are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time.

5. Upon booking, each guest will receive a guest rental agreement. This must be signed before the House Manual (which includes access instructions for the property) is sent.
